Your wife is under the F2A category. CRBA does not apply because petitioner is a GC holder.

Hi all

Its been a while, and my wife's F2A visa was approved on Oct 21 right after the interview, and she got the package on Oct 28.

My wife gave birth in Korea on Nov 3rd since she was not able to travel back to the U.S due to her condition.

I contacted U.S embassy in Korea explaining my situation, and what I was told is I have to file an immigration visa for my son plus an interview. Plus they do not know how long the process will take. Pretty much the same process of inviting my wife for F2A.......

My question is...

1) Instead of filing 1-864 for my son, and wait..... Can my wife bring the baby to the U.S and file immigration visa here in the U.S? I do not know how long it will take for my son to get a immigration visa to get approval if I file in Korea.

Thank you so much for your help in advance!
