ceac and courier service question

My husband had his interview with the American embassy in London on 16 June, 2015 and his ceac status reads "ready." should the next step read "administrative processing" or "issued"? also, when registering for the courier service, I mistakenly put down my u.s. home phone number instead of my husband's English mobile number, will this be a problem? i know the website says they send a text with the tracking number, but i hear people also receive emails. I provided the correct email address so I'm hoping we'll still receive the tracking number to pick up the visa packet when it's ready. Also, I hear that there are delays with the issuance of visas at the embassy; anyone have any idea how long it should take? we have a new born and my husband and I are devastated that he's already had to miss out on so much of our baby's new life. please, any help would be appreciated.

I would say CEAC is undependable now because visa issuance is completely halted. You will get an email when the courier has your visa. Read this statement from London for information http://www.usembassy.org.uk/specialrelationshipmagazine/will-the-technical-issues-affect-me-faqs-for-visa-applicants/

I wouldn't plan on getting the visa for 3-4 weeks, but that is total speculation.

I had an interview on June 17 and they told me to allow 3-4 weeks to get the visa. As if the stupid process could get any longer.....

CEAC is not being updated due to the computer problems so ignore it.

I don't have kids so can only imagine how heartbreaking it must be for you and your husband that he's not around right now. Best wishes (for both of us!) that it gets sorted soon.

So... small update for any brits reading this thread and worrying - my CEAC from 8th July interview, has gone Ready - Administrative processing - Issued, and I'm hoping for the email today and to have the Visa in hand on Tuesday....

...I'm also talking to another early July VJ'er who has had their visa issued (in hand) in a shorter time scale than mind, so....breathe! ok, don't panic it looks like London is settling down to a good time scale....
