Why does it take so long for my documents to get to my wife, sent June 5th and it's still not there yet, sent it priority mail, unfortunately no tracking number with it..I've sent boxes that took less time..

I see you're learning about PhilPost. You'll be lucky if she ever receives those documents. Next time, use a private carrier.

Like Tahoma stated and I will too.... DON'T ever use Philpost to get documents to someone in the Philippines. Your documents will get to the PI from USA but that's the end of the journey. They get lost, stolen and who knows what else. What a pathetic excuse for a postal system.

Next time use FedEx, DHL or other carrier. Expensive YES but will they arrive YES.

May I ask what were you sending that was not so important that you used postal?

Never, never, never send anything via USPS to the Philippines. Tracking will only follow your package as far as Manila. Once there, USPS releases all responsibility and Philippines Post takes over. Any package / envelope post marked from the US is just a big invitation to be "lost" or "misplaced". Even something as simple as a plain white envelope will likely not reach its destination. For future reference, NEVER send anything of value via the postal service. Granted, FedEx and DHL are expensive, but in the end, the extra money is a small price to pay for the security of your documents and gifts.

Rule # 1! Never use the postal system to send anything you want to actually arrive. PhilPost.... is known for NOT delivering.

Hong Kong Police mailed my wife's Police Certificate on March 25th to the Manila Embassy. I was able to track it to Manila, but Philpost never showed a delivered scan. When my wife went to the interview they didn't have it.

Hong Kong Police sent another certificate and it arrived on the 17th to the Philippines. Now I'm waiting to see if they screw up again. So far nothing shows on Philpost tracking.

We have no choice as that's the only way Hong Kong does the certificates. If you have a choice use private.
