Hello everybody!

I was checking my case status today after having sent out our application for removal of conditions last January. I went on the uscis website and it doesn't recognize my receipt number and I am not certain about what to do to find out what's going on. I already called their costumer service line and wasn't able to get a real person on the line.

If you have any insights, I'll love to read you!

Thank you!

Gloria

I had the same problem and i was worried like you but when they start working on your file, you will see something on the online status. I don't think there is anything to worry about.

In reality there is no harm with a long processing time of ROC, since you can still come and go and work in the US.

Unfortunately I can't renew my driver's license with the extension letter, as they see that as a "temporary status", because I could be "removed from the US at any time". So I have a 90 day temporary license, can't get student loans (I am a student) or a credit card to help raise my credit rating. Not sure if this is just a NJ thing, or if other states are similarly pig-headed.
