Ask for help:

We are planning to travel oversea for 2-3 month after I received my EAD and Travel Document (Green Card based petition). So here comes a question, we heard that there is approximately 3-5 month wait time between you receive EAD and Interview, so we want to travel during the time.

1. Do you think this travel is feasible? or kind of risky that we might miss the interview?
2. Generally, how long you wait to get EAD & Travel document after you done biometric screening?
3. How long you wait to have interview after you get EAD or done biometric screening?

Anyone could answer my questions? Thank you so much! your input will very value for us and people might have the similar situation, welcome!

It's gamble no matter what. There was a just a poster who hasn't received his EAD yet his 90 day waiting mark is five days before his interview....so he got scheduled for his interview at essentially his 90 day mark in country. Others have had to wait 10 months.

He mentions his work permit because that's what he is concerned about, but it's his combo card that he hasn't received....

I dont know if this kind of FAST schedule is per country, some country get faster appt some are not, or it's like all random
