K-1 Visa Error? Please help!!

I don't know what all you have left to do timely in Canada,

but you can consider coming to US, get married quickly and file AOS/AP/EAD

immediately after that...and then ask for expedite AP.

I've seen expedite AP get approved (still taking at least 4+ weeks)

with what I would judge as non-emergency corny reasons...

I've been crossing frequently during my process and have never had a problem. However, I go to visit every other weekend; I don't bring some things to start moving or anything. Strictly visits.

You are a K1 visa holder, your next entry to the US should be your K1 entry ( there have been exceptions but it is up to the person admitting you and you can't count on not using the K1 ) Once here if you leave without getting married you lose the K1, if you marry and leaving without AP or a green card you have abandoned your adjustment of status and must file for a CR1 visa. Your best option at this point to enter when you have a bit of uncommitted time and marry quick , file AOS with AP and then tidy up life as soon as you get AP.

Not once the K-1 visa was issued. They must enter with the K-1

So the Consulate responded to my question about not using the the K-1 Visa and what my choices are. The response below follows:

Good morning,

Thank you for your email!

If you choose to not use your visa by the expiry date, please send it back to the U.S Consulate General Montreal along with the sealed packet. We will forward it to a consular officer for review and will advise you on what steps to take next.

Secondly, please note that we cannot answer to hypothetical questions and cannot advise you on which choices you should make, the decisions are yours to make.

Now If I decide to not use it what would they do with the information/visa I send back? and what would they possibly advise me to do in terms of next steps to take? Their response is a bit vague. Would it be a case where they will take the visa back and just send me an e-mail saying to just re- apply from scratch in a nice way? What is your take on the matter? because I don't know what more they could do in helping my situation. Answers would be appreciated, thanks!

I think you are reading too much in it, they said if you do not use it send it back. That is it.
