Is there anyway to do the medical in one day? Our closest US embassy is 5 hours away in Paraguay. We had hoped to do everything there for the distance, but have to go to Buenos Aires, 12 or so hours away. This means my husband will have to travel for his medical as well.

Calling the clinic might help.

Hi soncrazed! I did the medical in BA in one day coz they have a special deal with the Embassy for people who live outside BA (I live in Mar del Plata). When you contact the doctor tell him that you guys are far and need to do it in one day. It took the hole day (between going to the doctors office, the laboratory and the place where I have to be vaccinate it) but by 7:30 PM I was ready to travel with the x-raid and the big envelope to present at the interview.
