You have to have a US Domicile, income well that will be whatever you will be earning in the US as presumably you will not be carrying on your current work.

Hello eveyone,

I´m a US citizen, married to a non-US citizen. My wife and I live in Ecuador, we have been married for 2,9 years.

Will there be a problem if she travels on her B2 visa and then applies to an Adjustment of Status?

Tourist visas are for tourists. Not for people looking to circumvent the immigration system. She can either enter on a tourist visa and leave, or you may file a spousal visa for her if she wishes to immigrate.

Yes, it is visa fraud to use a visitor visa to enter the US with the intent to stay and adjust status.

If you want her to come and stay in the US, you will need to file for a spousal visa.

Yes.

When you land stateside and they ask the purpose/length of stay and she says she intends to adjust status, they'll deny her entry.
