So I'm really stressing out about moving my belongings over to the USA. I've taken most of my clothes/shoes over already, but need to get my other belongings like books, coats etc over. I don't have too much stuff.

Does anyone have any recommendations of a moving company to use? I'm staying well away from Anglo Pacific as i've read a lot of bad reviews about them. Currently I'm thinking of using Movecorp. But it's all very confusing!

When I looked at it it was cheaper to pay for an extra suitcase. Most books did not make it.

Have you looked at sendmybag.com? It's a company that ships your luggage at a lower cost than an airline would charge for excess baggage. The rates seem quite reasonable, and you can ship boxes in addition to suitcases. If you are planning on moving furniture and other bulky items, then I don't think this would work for you, but for books, coats and the like, it may be an option for you to look into. I think I will use this company when I finally move.

I've been looking on Parcel2Go. They are quoting about £80 for a 50x50x50 cm box of 30kg. The cost went up to £130 if I increased the box size to 80x60x50 cm with 30kg.

Hi anyone have any recommendations for partial removing companies?

I'm repatriating from the UK back to the US and need help finding recommendations for someone who can doe a liftvan type crate. I'm moving form Sheffield to Florida.

The biggest items I'm bringing is my bicycle and a folding table I inherited from my grandfather. I'll have boxes with books, cds (250+), records (100+), clothes and a small kitchen appliances. Its not enough for half a container, but enough for a crate of some kind.

Thanks.

I used 1st Move International http://www.shipit.co.uk Watch the video. Excellent packing.

You are charged by cubic meters of space used in the container. You don't have to have a half-container.
