Hi guys, can you tell me what email you are using to email the Jerusalem consulate?

Because when I email the address provided (jerusalemiv@state.gov), this happens:

Do you guys have special permission or something?

I ask because I'm in the same boat. They requested 'missing' documents (also new financial sponsor), which registered mail told us arrived 2 weeks ago. Our status on the AIV website still says "SEND DOCUMENTS", but the ceac status (DS-260) is in AP, updated 2 days after the consulate rec'd our documents. Not sure why they are different and what is the actual status of our case. Do we have to wait weeks or months? (/sigh)

Looks like I used this :JerusalemIVInquiries@state.gov

I know this thread is old, but what did you say in your email? I have emailed them once a week since they told him he was approved but we are in AP and have been for like 3 months still no response

We have similar situation in this Consulate - my fiance passed the interview, but after he described the way it was conducted (super fast just checked answers in the computer, and fast to the next) I got feeling that the officer even wasn't going to make any decision at that time - just told him that he needs the original of my divorce certificate with original certified translation (we had a copy). I didn't feel comfortable to send the original to them - it was issued in the other country and it'll be a burden to get another one. Additionally, 20 years ago I came to the US on K1 visa myself - I assume my divorce certificate was checked several times already at that time. All paperwork was sent on September, 27. And.... Silence... Today, October, 14 I sent an e-mail just to discover that all this time (almost 3 weeks) our documents were gathering dust in the mailroom. I wonder if I wouldn't send e-mail how long it could sit there... Now, after they put our documents into the system I have another question - how long will it be sitting on the desk...

P.S. My fiance also doesn't seem to be somebody who needs additional background check: Israeli, no US visas before, nothing what could trigger the red flag.
