how to obtain a new zealand police certificate:

http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/fees/reciprocity-by-country/NZ.html

Police Records

Available. Police records are available to any immigrant who applies directly to the United States Consulate General in Auckland, New Zealand. Records can also be provided to Consular offices abroad or the Department of Homeland Security office handling the case.

The vetted clearances requested by applicants will be forwarded directly to the NVC unless alternate instructions are provided.

Clearance requests can be sent to the U.S. Consulate General Auckland by email to AucklandIV@state.gov or by mail or courier to: 23 Custom Street East, Citi Group Building, 3rd floor, Private Bag 92022, Auckland New Zealand.

Document Name: NEW ZEALAND POLICE CLEARANCE AUTHORIZATION

Issuing Authority: NZ Liaison Officer - Police Vetting Service New Zealand Police National HQ. As standard operating procedure, any post or DHS office that sends a clearance request by email will receive the vetted results by return email. Now am confused which form to submit, any clue?

Email or mail that PDF to the email or address. If that's what you did them it's just a matter of waiting I would think.

was there any response back within 72 hours of emailing?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

It's been 23 days since I sent bck GZ Consulate my passport together w/ NZL police certificate from SH Citic bank. Last AP on 7.15, passport status says there's no status update available for the passport number submitted. Wot the heck is taking so long?!

NZL Justice Department finally mailed me my original police certificate after couple months of my visa interview. I already sent off the Email version via SH Citic Bank Headquarters on 7.9, updated AP to 8.3 after I called 51915200.They should have given back my passport and requested I resend it when I get the original police certificate otherwise wots the bloody hold up?! Or shall I send it off nevertheless?
