They hold our visa for AP saying that we need to show our joint sponsor for i864. I don't understand why they ask for this since we don't need that til after marriage and ready to file for Aos. My i134 does pass the 100% guideline. Can I explain to them that I was planning on getting a 2nd Job as soon as my fiancé arrives so that we wouldn't need a joint sponsor?

Some consulates ask for 864, even for a K-1

Go to the Nepal specific forum here to find out it that is a standard procedure in Nepal.

I would be looking for a co-sponsir in parallel, as I suspect that is the case

pay stubs & letter from employer should work since they are concerned with current income. were you informed if you needed a co sponsor?
