Hello,

The NOA1 you received via text/email. Does it say it's the NOA1? I got a text yesterday with an "official receipt notice" including a case filing number (starting with WAC). Is this different from the actual NOA1?

This is the same thing, you will just get your NOA 1 hard copy few weeks later in the mail.

Looks like we are on the same date.

My fiance and I are about to submit our K1 Visa Petition to USCIS. We want to ask if my fiance (the petitioner) need to disclosed his arrest records in the past. He had no convictions. The first one was dismissed and the second one he was given "Withheld Adjudication" and served probation which he completed. We know that the USCIS will do a background check on him. Is it necessary to disclosed the arrest records or should we just let them find out on their own since there were only arrest made and no convictions?

Hi Aljci,

Please read all instructions on the I-129F VERY carefully and follow them exactly. Refer to Part 3 question 2, and read the supplemental information. If he answers yes to 2a, 2b, or 2c, he is required to disclose further information. If he answers no, then you don't have to (read--shouldn't). It's probably a good idea not to voluntarily give them reasons to reject your petition, and at the same time, you are required to answer all questions truthfully and honestly, though I'm not sure which would apply to you in this case.

Bottom line, answer the questions, and follow the instructions exactly, truthfully, and honestly.

Best of luck!

We are very honest in answering the questions, that's why we want to make sure if we still need to disclosed about the arrests since they're only asking about the CONVICTIONS and he NEVER HAD any convictions. Thank you for replying

That makes me nervous. I sent in 6 pictures of us together, travel itinerary of hers when she came for 4 months, copies of her passport, a letter she sent me and receipt of a package I sent her. Hoping that is enough, but we do have a lot of evidence to bring when we get to the interview portion. Hopefully the Sydney Consulate is cool about it.

I`m pretty sure for low fraud countries like yours and mine, that is just fine. I didn`t include a package receipt but I did include a few chat logs. Did not include the affidavit of support etc either I have read that is something we`ll have to bring to the interview. I`m not sure if people from high fraud countries have to include all of that for the i-129f though, but yours sounds fine to me.

All we have included was:

- payment of 340 dollars

-G-1145

- I-129F

- Attachment to I-129F (explanation of meeting in person)

-Both our G-325A`s

- Both our passport style photo`s

-Petitioner`s Birth certificate and all pages of his US passport

- Both our letters of intent to marry

- Proof of having met in person (photo`s, passport stamps, boarding passes, and a few receipts to link our photo`s with)

- Proof of ongoing relationship ( skype call duration screenshots, some texts when we were at the airport looking for each other, and some whatsapp screenshots from the past months)

I believe that is plenty :)

When did you guys send it in? Did you get your NOA1 already? We sent ours yesterday, June 9th! Good luck!

Those docs are what we have sent, it doesn't mean that you should provide them all. I've just posted to give an idea.Plus, I'm an absolute freak when it comes to use every precautions. I believe that each case is unique so you better know which ones apply to your case. Good luck!!
