I'm glad to hear you did get the right card! Yeah, I haven't checked in here for a few months. We never heard anything back from USCIS, and we've been having a hectic few months and it just kinda fell off the radar, until my husband mentioned it last week.. "Oh hey, whatever happened to that thing with my green card? How long has it been?"

You did the right thing from the start by filing on paper and sending the card along with it. I'm really kicking myself now for not doing that, thinking it would be easier online. HA! The online application had a file upload section, where I uploaded our marriage certificate, a letter explaining everything, and a scan of the incorrect green card. It just looks like the application got stuck in limbo or something, and was never assigned to anyone after the ASC appointment.

I was surprised to see the card in 3 months. Mind you, mine could have been a lucky case that got processed faster. I have seen other cases get their cards within 4-6 months though. You should definitely get behind it instead of filing for ROC. Log on to your My USCIS account where you filled i-90 and see what case status is there. File service request online now. Good luck and keep us posted here.

The case status still says In Process, and still says Appointment Scheduled. I just sent another email request - I had emailed in October, and received a reply that said it was still within normal processing timeframes. Next week if they don't help via email, we'll try to make time for an infopass.

We FINALLY got the RFE to mail in the original card, dated February 19th. Only a 7 month wait. My email request was answered on January 29th, and I was told it was still within the normal processing times at that point. They must have a serious backlog or something. I'm mailing the card today, we'll see how long it takes to get the new one.
