Just a little "fine tuning" after "AT NVC"... "IN TRANSIT" means that NVC has entered your packet into the DHL system. Your status will stay "IN TRANSIT" while your packet is still physically at NVC

I had my case complete on May 15 as well and still no interview yet :( this is not looking good for the honeymoon we booked in the dominican departing July 26...

Had my interview today and it was approved. I will give the details later when I am calm. Thanks VJ, I couldn't have done it with you all

My case was completed on 5May, got email notification about case complete on 12May. PD is current (FB 4 visa). No news of interview yet. Hoping to get july interview at Mumbai consulate.

hard to type with fingers still crossed ;)

I've been keeping an eye on various threads... looks like there are about 6 of us (self included) with CC's in the later half of May waiting..... still hoping to hear soon :)

My youngest is turning 7 on Wednesday.... I've kinda been thinking/hoping it'd be a nice bday present from nvc to give us an interview date either tuesday or wednesday.... everything on my end is on hold pending the unknown....

Though we're keeping busy with packing and purging.... I'm out of my rental the end of this month and we'll be staying with my dad between July 1 and POE ((he's excited to get to spend that extra time with his grand babies, and me "the granddaughters personal taxi driver" LOL))

Thank you VJers, welcome to another month! My husband had his interview a few hours ago. He was denied, though, because of a birth certificate issue. It's weird to me because the country-specific PDF from the DoS website said to use a different civil document in place of birth certificate, which is what we did. But the CO from his interview said the civil document wouldn't work, that he needed a birth certificate.

So it seems the birth certificate is the only reason he was denied. He is running around the city to obtain it to submit it now. My question is: once he submits it, does anyone know whether or not his visa will be approved then and there?

Okay phew not a denial. just a delay he just needs to get his BC. I pray it won;t be a major undertaking. And yes if he obtains it and its what the embassy wants he will get the Visa. So hang on. I hope he gets it fast.

Hi all, we are also waiting for interview from MTL. Our case was closed on May 13th. Does anyone knows if the CEAC online status changes when the interview has been assigned? I keep checking everyday... Also really looking forward to this Wednesday, not specific reason, but maybe we will be lucky!

I don't think the CEAC status changes until they ship the file to Montreal, but first we get the interview date.....
