She was maybe concerned over whether or not the top of the cans are being cleaned properly. Being that they sit in warehouses with rats and mice p i s s i n g all over them.

I am guessing that this incident is much more to do with bad customer service, a difficult customer getting back her bad attitude (I wear no headscarf and have often been denied the entire can on a flight, let alone an unopened one) and to the extent that the story of other third parties chiming in about the incident a function of the customer deciding to make the issue about her religion. Sorry, but the entire controversy is a bit inflated and seems like it is pretty much manufactured.

I'm sure that's the most plausible explanation. Flying has become more of a hassle than anything and some of the passengers and flight attendants alike have no business being inside an airplane.

It is policy to not give un opened cans. I think the whole problem is that she is alleging a man near her got an unopened beer we shall se how this shakes out. She Also Alleges Some Man Near Her Cussed At Her And made region slurs. I am a little Tawana Brawley skeptical off that

Tahera Ahmad, Muslim Diet Coke Whiner, Tried to Censor Ayaan Hirsi Ali

If you read the news, then you already know that the greatest tragedy of the decade was the unfathomably sad story of Tahera Ahmad, a Muslim activist who wanted an unopened Diet Coke, but didn’t get one.

Why? According to her, it’s Islamophobia. Either that or aliens.

Meanwhile Tahera Ahmad was pushing a boycott of Ayaan Hirsi Ali by retweeting a call that she not be honored at Brandeis.

Ali is a woman who genuinely suffered and overcame more serious challenges than a lack of Diet Coke on a plane.

Here are some of the challenges that Ayaan Hirsi Ali and Tahera Ahmad overcame in their lives.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali – was subjected to female genital mutilation

Tahera Ahmad – didn’t get a diet coke on a plane

Ayaan Hirsi Ali – realized that the religion she had been raised in preached violence and oppression leading her to transform her understanding of her life

Tahera Ahmad – didn’t get a diet coke on a plane

Ayaan Hirsi Ali – faced multiple death threats

Tahera Ahmad – didn’t get a diet coke on a plane

And yet you just know that a few months from now Tahera Ahmad will be invited to the White House, she’ll receive an honorary degree that was denied to Ayaan Hirsi Ali and a golden ticket from United Airlines.

And maybe a lifetime supply of Diet Coke.

This is what Muslim Privilege looks like. Tahera Ahmad reminds us of the levels of entitlement accorded to Muslim women while those women who choose to reject its teachings are terrorized, threatened and murdered.

And when they aren’t, the left treats them like unwanted garbage while celebrating the martyrdom of Tahera Ahmad and her Diet Coke.

To be fair she was not denied a Coke, she was denied an unopened can of coke.

I have been on those hoppers, sometimes they use bottles and with those tiny plastic glasses full of ice you can 3 or 4 servings out of a can.

Where did you pick up that piece of information? Since it didn't come from either the reporting or the airline, you probably pulled it from the same place you typically pull your information from - your rectum.

She came across as a spoilt entitled brat enjoying her 5 seconds of fame.

I appreciate that this is a bit of a generalisation but Trolley Totty seems to have gone from United and I presume also United's partners. Always seem to be overweight grannys who are still doing it because presumably the pay is OK.

Her recitation sparked outrage among some conservatives — women are barred from reciting the Quran in public, in part, Ahmad says, because of a fear that a woman’s voice could fill men with lust. No free alcoholic beverages, period. Just tea, coffee and juice. I couldn't even use up my spare dollars -cards only for alcohol.

Oh, and the wifi system on the plane wasn't working.

Newark is a terrible airport too-my first experience. No cash at restaurants/coffee shops. No free wifi.

Narita felt like paradise.. Civilisation !
