anything new in your case after the denial? are you resubmitting another CR-1 visa? Good luck!

We will not file a new RI-1 because it's just more money for nothing, it would end in the same. So we are letting the process go on it's way until the end and deal with their verdic when it comes. I do call while I'm in the USA and check the site out but so far all is the same in limbo/nightmare. I really don't know what else they expect from us, what more we can give them but pictures that anyone can take and say they are happy. My husband is clean in everyway we love each other and that is all that should matter. If they really wanted to protect us and or the US spouse is to make a law that if the Immigrant spouse divorces the US citizen let's say with in 5 to 10 years of arrival hehehe they will be deported problem solved. But then they wouldn't be able to play their games. :D Do they accept porno filmes hahaaaa sorry just in a mood! My husband adores me and I him and they insist they know better, what is a non powerful person to do?

Sorry I haven't been on much gang, had the flu then a bad relapse. Your all in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi Soloenta!

I did see the nas and confirmedby phone. Today I finally got it with the interview date.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Congratulations so very happy for you and will be praying the interview goes without a hitch!!!!!! (F)(L)(F) ...............:yes::dance:

HI Soloenta (L)

Sorry to hear you are sick with flu again  But we're  Happy to see you and your hubby are having a lovely time together! hug-and-kiss.gif (L)

Thank you sweet heart, it's been horrible but I'm almost 100% but have

managed to have fun fixing up our apartment. My husband purchased a

new King size bed with side tables, huge closet and vanity with chair it's

just gorgeous oh and a stand to put clothes, towels on. He's so cute he

said he dreamed of watching me comb my hair sitting at the vanity.

I'm very blessed to have him in my life!

Natasha, I'm praying hard you and Noor get your Visa very soon, enough

is enough it's just rediculous!!!! God bless you and bring you the joy of

being with your husband forever.

Praying for everyone here that God have mercy on us all and we get to

live a normal life soon. (F)(L)(F):dance::yes::dance::wub:

Hi all! Sorry I haven't been around for a while. It has been a crazy last month or so. Soloenta, I am glad to hear you are feeling better and finally got your new furniture! I wish I was still there to see it!

Anyway, I came to report good and bad news.

Good news, my husband had his interview on the 10th and was approved, alhamdulillah. It was a very quick and painless interview lasting around 5 minutes, and he was asked the standard questions not focusing on any one area for more than a question or two. :) At the end, he was compelled to tell the CO, wait, it's over already? But I didn't show you even half of the evidence my wife prepared for this. Hahaha!

And for the bad news, which I am sure most of you are aware of. All overseas visa printing has temporarily been suspended. Of course, this just so happened to be announced the day after our interview. I just spent the last few days watching all the people with Cairo interviews from June 3rd - June 7th get their visas within 4 - 6 days so I was hopeful that we would have ours in that time as well, and the hubby would be flying in this coming Friday, but of course, as has happened with everything since reaching NVC and beyond, there's good ol' Murphy's Law. Lol!

Hopefully this won't last long and all of us waiting will be with our loved ones soon.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (F) (L) (F)

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS finally great knews for great people so very happy for you my sweet friend, well deserved and will be praying you get your Visa very soon. Sad how imcompetent they are but than God in heaven and so happy it was an easy interview!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God bless you for letting us know and I pray we all have the same good news very soon.

Love you girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! (L)

Hello Maharosa. Is the suspension of overseas visa printing applicable to just Egypt or do you have knowledge that it applies to all embassies and consulates? Do you have a source for this news?

Hello Maharosa. Is the suspension of overseas visa printing applicable to just Egypt or do you have knowledge that it applies to all embassies and consulates? Do you have a source for this news?

It's for all overseas visa printing. Here is the information, which was updated yesterday, copied directly from the Department of State website.

Technological Systems Issue
June 15, 2015

Passport/Visa Systems Errors

  • The Bureau of Consular Affairs is currently experiencing technical problems with our visa systems. These issues have resulted in delays in printing visas and may mean rescheduling some visa interviews.
  • This issue is not specific to any particular country or visa category.
  • Overseas passports are now being processed. Domestic passport services are functioning, and we were always able to issue emergency passports to U.S. citizens overseas with urgent travel needs.
  • The Consular Consolidated Database (CCD) problems we are experiencing are not the same challenges we overcame last summer. We are working urgently around the clock to correct the problems and restore our system to full operational status as soon as possible.
  • We apologize to applicants who are experiencing delays or were unable to obtain a passport overseas, Consular Report of Birth Abroad, or U.S. visa.
  • We are seeking to assist nonimmigrant visa applicants with urgent humanitarian travel. Individuals with an urgent humanitarian need for travel should contact their nearest U.S. embassy or consulate.
  • We are aware of pending overseas adoption cases, including in China. We are prioritizing these cases and seek to issue these visas with few delays.
  • We regret the inconvenience to travelers, and remain committed to facilitating legitimate travel while protecting our borders.
  • We will post updates to Travel.State.Gov as more information becomes available.

Technological Systems Issue
June 16, 2015

Passport/Visa Systems Errors

  • The Bureau of Consular Affairs continues to address technical problems with our visa systems. Some visa applicants will experience delays in receiving visas. Others will be contacted directly to reschedule their appointments. Passports are still being processed.
  • This issue is not specific to any particular country or visa category; this is a global issue. We do not believe these problems stem from any cyber-security hacking issues.
  • Our border security responsibilities are critical to the visa process. We cannot bypass the legal requirements to screen visa applicants before we issue visas for travel. We are assisting visa applicants with urgent humanitarian travel, and adoption cases are being processed. Individuals with humanitarian travel needs should contact their nearest U.S. embassy or consulate.

Q: What caused this outage? Was it a malicious action or hack?

  • There is no evidence the problem is cyber security related.

Q: How long before you restore full system functionality?

  • Overseas passports are being issued. Public and private sectors experts are working around the clock to correct the problem, but we do not expect the system will be online before next week.

Q: How many travelers are affected by this outage?

  • This is a global issue and is having impact on our consular operations. We are in daily communication with consular operations worldwide to assess the evolving impact and provide guidance, including information for the traveling public.

Q: Once operational, how will cases be prioritized?

  • Once the systems are fully operational, we will work as quickly as possible to clear the backlog of pending visa cases.
  • We apologize to applicants and recognize that this may cause hardship to applicants waiting for visas.

Geez what next but one week sounds great if they are telling the truth. I'll be praying they are, they are so inefficient !!!

:goofy: Hi Everybody, I have been busy the last 2 days, as I have enrolled in university to pursue my bachelor's degree online with Grand Canyon University. So i've been reorganizing my "office space" and doing my preliminary introduction course assignments online. I'm happy to start my degree, I mean I have 68/90 credits that will transfer so that's awesome....but I am conflicted because I'm thinking i'm doing this to kill time/distract me from the pain of this emotional torture being separated from my husband. And he totally supports me, and is proud too. Then I think, what if he gets his issued? How awesome!!!! But how will i be able to concentrate on studies with my man here, where I can actually touch him and love on him all the time??? He says he'll give me space to do it, but y'all don't know how much passion I have for this man!!! This will be tough! I guess I could just try it, and if I feel like it's too much, or cutting too much time away from him, I could take some time off, then when he gets a job I could resume my studies. ( I think i just answered my own conundrum....but anyway you guys know what I'll be doing in my spare time now.) LOL i'm a wreck.. :girlwerewolf2xn: .just trying to get by everyday while enduring this torture. But omg....our case updated tonight! Today it updated at night so 16 June pm, BUT it back dated it's update. Cuz YOU KNOW i check multiple times a day, everyday...!!! The update date is 14 JUN 2015. Dear God, I hope this means they are working on it,,,,I PRAY they are fixing their system, and gonna give my husband his issued!!! Please God.... I just want him home. I want to experience married life with my husband. I mean, damn...we've been married 2 years....Can I have him NOW? Please???

So this is my rant of the day....just venting and sharing. I hope all is well with everyone, and everyone is hanging in there, keeping their marriages happy and just know I believe all our marriages will be so much stronger due to surviving this struggle! And I WILL NOT abandon this thread or website even after his issued! WE want to be some kind of support for others also going through this struggle... and if the dear Lord allows us to be an example of something amazingly positive to others, we will happily do that, if we can! :luv:

You just made me cry, your one of my very favorite human beings and I would miss you so much if you didn't come back but at the same time understand life get's in the way. I to have made a promise to keep this thread open no matter what for all those that need it.

I just said a prayer for you and Noor and yes you have the answer to your question heheheheee it's a perfect plan. Umm give the poor guy a few days to recoup from the flight will you!

Praying you get your Visa NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God bless you and flood you with joy and love.

Sorry if this is all jumbled, I'm on my tablet. Anyway, here's the latest update... so depressing!

Technological Systems Issue

JUNE 17, 2015

Visa Systems Issues

The Bureau of Consular Affairs continues to experience technical problems with our visa systems. This is a global issue, and we are working around the clock to fix it. More than 100 computer experts from both the private and public sectors across the United States are working on this problem 24/7. That said, we do not expect the system will be online before next week. The problems stem from a hardware failure in a State Department facility in the United States on June 9. That failure is preventing the Department from processing and transmitting biometric data checks at visa-issuing embassies and consulates. We cannot bypass the legal requirements to screen visa applicants before we issue visas for travel. Each visa decision is a national security decision, and we take our obligation to protect the United States seriously.

We regret the inconvenience to travelers and recognize that this is causing hardship to those waiting for visas, and in some cases, their family members or employers in the United States. We will continue to post regular updates on our website, travel.state.gov.

Q: What caused this outage? Was it a malicious action or hack?

There is no evidence the problem is cyber-security related.

Q: How long before you restore full system functionality?

Public and private sector experts are working around the clock to correct the visa problem, but we do not expect the system will be online before next week.

Overseas and domestic passports are being issued.

Q: How many travelers are affected by this outage?

Most posts were able to handle visa interviews and some visa printing as usual through the end of last week. This week, many posts have had to reschedule visa appointments. We handle an average 50,000 applications daily worldwide. Many applicants do not have immediate travel plans and will receive visas in time for planned trips. We are prioritizing urgent medical and other humanitarian cases as well as H2A agricultural workers.

Q: Once operational, how will cases be prioritized?

We are already prioritizing urgent humanitarian cases and temporary agricultural workers. Once the systems are fully operational, we will work as quickly as possible to clear the backlog of pending visa cases.

We apologize to travelers and recognize that this has caused hardship to some individuals waiting for visas.

Q: What about domestic passports?

Domestic passport operations are functioning, with some intermittent processing delays. While some of these issues have affected same-day service at our passport agencies, we continue to issue passports to U.S. citizens with urgent overseas travel needs.
