My turn to rant...AGAIN!!!

GGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Another delay.....in AP

Seems that because the government departments associated with this process have been less than speedy at processing our file....my PIC (Police Information Check) has expired (they are only good for a year). You think they would have noticed that it would expire before they could complete the work when I gave it to them at the interview and let me know then....

SOoooooooooooo after a 2 hour wait to request said report, I can expect a new PIC in about a week....

Lord only knows how long it will take them to issue my Visa after that

I get confirmation from the consulate that they mailed...MAILED out the letter telling me I need a new Police Check....#######?!?!?!

This is a first!!! They have always communicated by email with letters attached!

I think this is just another way to delay our case!

If my 2014 income is below the poverty line but my parents who I live with agree to add themselves on our household income and sign that form that states they will support her if need be so she doesn't become a burden of the state do we still need a joint sponsor for my wife's 6.8 interview? My parents claimed over 300,000 on their last income tax, and she has all our 2014 tax returns.Wouldn't that be enough?my parents both had to sign a form that stated they would support Gina if they had to do so. They had to sign these forms in order to add their income on our household income. It states that the household member is agreeing to accept any and all liability both jointly and separately with the sponsor for the intended immigrant. 18months since we filed

5. Concerns with Longstanding or Complex USCIS Immigration Filings or Applications For help resolving problems with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) immigration filings or applications, first try resolving the issue by using the USCIS customer service options available to you: (1) Call the USCIS National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283, 1-800-767-1833 (TTY); (2) Check ―Case Status‖ at www.uscis.gov; or (3) Make an InfoPass appointment with USCIS at http://infopass.uscis.gov. Individuals or employers who have exhausted all USCIS customer service options but still need help resolving a problem with an application or petition can request the assistance of DHS Headquarters by contacting the Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman (CIS Ombudsman) and completing Form DHS-7001, Case Problem Assistance Worksheet, found at www.dhs.gov/cisombudsman, or by filing a case problem online.

Why did NVC do away with the automated recordings again? At least at USCIS, I could enter my case# and they would give me info on what they had! That would cut down on soooo many of the calls! I tried calling NVC today from 6am HST to 5:45HST (Because by 545, 11:45pm EST, they already had the lines closed) and I never got through. Ii went through my call log and counted. 60. Six. Zero. 60 times I called and couldn't even get a chance go wait to speak. Give me the discretion to wait 5 hours until someone answers, don't tell me to call back! And no matter how many times I get that message, when I DO finally get through, the wait time is NEVER longer than 45 minutes, and that was the longest I EVER waited. The shortest was less than 5 minutes. I don't get their system but's faulty and it SUCKS!

ok so I haven't posted or checked the thread for a bit. my little sister had to go into the hospital yesterday for some testing so I came up a week early to get to spend some fun time first before we spend a week in the hospital while the docs try to make her have seizures. UGH I hate to see her hooked up to all these machines. but I know its for the best. we still have not heard anything more on our case they just keep telling me t wait the 180 days which will be October 6th. had another nervous breakdown and am trying to keep it all together. am so lucky my husband understands and is supportive of me no matter what. glad I have a job that offers short term disability so I can take a leave of absence from work and get myself back together again. being here with my sister seems to help a little bit cause I know shes not alone that way. I have truly missed seeing her its hard when you live states apart and neither of you can really afford to go see the other one. Praying for all of us still stuck in AP and all of those getting ready for interviews.

hope you all have a blessed day.

Oh sweetheart so very sorry, am so happy your with your little sister and I'll be praying all turns out great for her and you. I know how you feel wish we would win the lotto to help all of us that need it here on VJ. Money or the lack of it is the evil. Praying all of us get out of this nightmare soon. Much love and hugs.
