Hi all!

I first sent the I-129F to the NE on May, then received the I-797C, shows the received date was May15, 2006. On June 8th, 2006, I received a notice of transfer, that my application was forward to the CA office. I have not heard anything after that from USCIS. Wondering what is going on with this, I think they lost my application because after I request for a "service request", got a reply from CA, saying that NE is still have my application, but NE is saying CA has it. Any one been through this type of situation before? Any help is greatly appricated.

I hate these nightmare situations! I think the best thing for you to do now is find out the website for the Congressman in the district you live in or one of your Senators. Their websites will tell you what they need from you to investigate your situatiion. Generally speaking they will need your authorization to allow them to investigate on your behalf. Make sure you send them a copy of your NOA1 ( I-797C) and letter describing your situation. The problem is they can take 30 - 60 days to find out anything for you. Hopefully you have a copy of everything that you sent in the petition. I suppose in the worst case they will tell you, you have to file again, but since you have the NOA1 you probably can get the fee waived if this worst case turned out.

Good luck with this!
