Hello, I know I am probably over thinking this, but it is generally said to not leave any fields blank in I-864 or any of its variants. Issue is, I do not have a middle name. I left it blank in my I-130 petition and it didnt cause any issues. Wondering if I can leave it blank in I-864EZ as well, or should I put something else? I have come across people suggesting to write "None", but I am worried that they may think this is my real middle name. Thanks

Probably? You are either going to become ' none ' or ' blank ' it seems.

Or accept the fact that they have seen millions of cases many of which have no middle name. I left mine blank. My friends call me none.

You have no middle name. Why would you write anything in there? Common sense dictates.

Please stop adding religious comments to your posts. Stop blessing others - some people around here do not believe in "god' and it is offensive to be blessed by someone who think their religion is superior to anyone else's ideas. Do not offer blessings, religious comments, and such things to people as it's not your right to force your religion on others. Don't pray for me. Don't comment on how your prayers have been answered. Don't you think it's a little egotisitcal and offensive to suggest that YOU got what you wanted because you prayed and maybe someone else prayed and hasn't gotten what they wanted? Are you more important to "god" than other people? Keep your religion to yourself. It's not your right to force your religion on me or others. You have a right to believe what you want, but not force it down my throat in your posts. If I started adding abortion comments to my posts, I'd be banned. Relgion is fine and dandy for you, but not for me. Stop adding your relgious comments. If you actually believe there is a "god" then trust me, you are in huge violation of walking around all high-and-mighty suggesting anything - leave people to believe what they want!! This includes those who believe there is no such thing. It is ridiculously offesnive to see these continuous postings offering prayers, blessings, thanks to "god," and the dozen other religion-based comments. You have no right to force it on people. Freedom of religion does not give you the right to write about it and tell me this or that - it only allows you to believe and THINK what you want !! So, please, stop it. I'm tired of seeing these things and it's getting hugely offensive!

A method that can never be misinterpreted or misunderstood is to put "---" in the space for middle name.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
