Does anyone know where they hide the emergency travel request on the website:?

Those with urgent travel should follow the instructions for expedited emergency appointment found on https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-CA/niv.

There is no site map or site search?

Thanks!

See below:

. Individuals with visa interview appointments scheduled for June 14-20, 2015, should reschedule their appointments if they submitted a DS-160 online application after June 9, 2015. Appointments can be rescheduled by signing into the existing appointment account and selecting the “reschedule” link or by calling the call center.

I guess you have to sign in.

It's all non-domestic visa printing. The only people unaffected are US citizens, for the most part.

The problem is with the security checks database being down, they have to do this before they issue any hard visas, like the ones you get for K1 and marriage. Without being able to do the checking, they can't print them because they cant' over ride the proccess of security checking.

Anyone have news form the Montreal Consulate? We are still in Administrative Processing and the odd thing was on June 16th, the Status Updated Date changed to June 12. Why wouldn't it change to June 16? We check it every day so know it was June 10 prior to that. So here we are 6 days later and still nothing!

I tried calling the emergency number and got a message that they are not taking any phone calls, only email.

This is such a frustrating expereince and time is running out for us.

I know how you feel. Mine has not updated at all since June 10. But I know I checked on June 10th but the date wasn't updated til June 11th. I am afraid to mail the consulate and not upset them. I have been stuck at ready since June 4th. This is really stressful and tiring.

Send the email. I have had quick responses from that route. Quite honestly though you are probably looking a long wait because of the "Worldwide Technical difficulties". Yesterday someone who interviewed at MTL and who was approved on the spot was told that the VISA wouldn't be ready for at least three (3) weeks. My hubby's status has been on READY since 6/2 and has been update 63,6/4,6/8 and 6/16.. Trust me I know it's frustrating but try to hang in there.

The website also says my case is ready for scheduling an interview. My wife had her interview on May 15 and they needed a joint sponsor. So we sent it by Loomis. Just more confusion why it says ready for an interview to be scheduled.

Hi Boardercrosser,

The description under ready is the same and doesn't change. In fact mine went to AP after the interview and I was given 221g for missing document then ready and it has been there for a while. NLR on this thread has told me is that means that they are reviewing your case and that aligns with what the consulate told me when I emailed them for a status check. I have been stuck at it for 2 weeks now. I have emailed them for another status check today. Good luck!

I think 3 to 6 weeks is a good timeline. They were already backlogged so the "Worldwide technical difficulties'' is just compounding the situation. At least you have status Ready now not AP anymore. Hang in there.
