First and foremost, lawyers are people. They make mistakes, just like YOU, ME, Doctors, Teacehrs, everyone. There is no such thing as perfect.

Also, remember, you CHOOSE to choose a lawyer and you must accept the responsibility of their mistakes. You get the bad effects, you take it, you are responsible. Don't go blaming the lawyer.

Also, I bet many of you COST SHOP for lawyers, finding the cheapest. Well, you get what you pay for.

There is no such thing as perfect.

I would still trust the written rules, regulations, and instructions directly from the USCIS before I would trust and depend on anyone here or a lawyer. Nobody here is a government official. People here are simply giving "their situation" ... and that hardly applies to everyone.

When I applied for my K1 visa, they asked me questions about my denied B1/B2 visa. I told them the truth even though it was less than a year since I applied. We went through the entire process without a lawyer. Thanks to all the VJers. One thing I've learned is that never lie, no matter what

You had little to no chance of getting a tourist visa, the lawyer didn't have much to do with it.

???????????

She was issued a visa.
