Hello, my fiance had his interview at USEM on May 15,2015 and was approved during interview (God is good!). Upon tracking the visa, it only states this :

U.S. Department of State
NONIMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION
Ready
Application ID or Case Number: MNLXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Case Creation Date: 15-May-2015 Status Updated Date: 20-May-2015
Your case is open. Please check your status after two business days via the CEAC launch page athttps://ceac.state.gov/CEAC/.
Status has not changed since then.. Anyone with similar or recent experience of being issued a visa recently at USEM? How long is current processing time for visa issuance for the past months who had their visa? Any reply is greatly appreciated. We are hoping to get any change of status by next week maybe? thank you! :)

How long is the processing? No one knows as each case is different, you can get thousands of replies but no one can say when your visa will actually be issued.

#1 thing to do is ......... BE PATIENT. Then check the CEAC website everyday (not every hour)

When my wife did her visa it took two weeks before the passport as delivered by 2GO.

Patience is the order of the day always during this visa process.

Hi Greenbaum,

After THIS "Ready" status, where it is non-immigrant and says to check back in two days, can one anticipate any more than two or three days before issued? Do those days in clude weekend days? Can one expect an AP status change at this point?

your insight is helpful.

When they are ready to issue a visa, it should change to "Nonimmigrant Visa Application"; at that time, you will know that you are a few days away from getting it. It would go from "Immigrant Visa Application" to "Nonimmigrant Visa Application" and go to "Ready" ==> "Administrative Processing" ==>> "Issued".

Sometimes, it might skip "Administrative Processing" and go from "Ready" to "Issued". Remember this is not something I would swear to as it changes all the time. Especially when we think we have it figured out they change it.

Days accounted for are business days. Not holidays or weekends those are in addition to business days.
