Has anyone experience this lately? I tried to check my status on the USCIS website and it says I should contact the NCSC on an 1 800 number. please if anyone had tried to check his/her status recently please let me know. Thanks.

i called that number and the person i spoke with says it takes 45 days for you status to be seen. if after 45 days nothing happens then call them again. hopefully the status should come up soon.

@smily. 45 days for the status to show? Is going to be a year since I submitted my application for the green card and still have not heard anything. I don't even know what to do because my EAD expires August and I haven't applied for a new one yet since I have Been told several times when I Call that my green card will be ready soon. Still waiting and praying it comes through. I got the infamous waiver letter.

Create an account on USCIS website and ad your receipt number and it will show that last date your petition was touched. I spoke with USCIS a few days ago and he said it does not affect your case if it does not show up online, it will still be updated within the 45 day mark, if it does not call up USCIS.
