hello December 2013 filers! our time is coming, slowly but surely!

I do have a question for anyone who can answer: People are sending in their AOS/IV docs before IV fee has generated and thus also before DS-260 has been filled. (I was also advised to do this some time back by an NVC rep - but I hesitated. I recently got email from NVC invoicing my IV fee and in giving me the option to pay by mail.). I am sooooo torn about this paying by mail option because it seems to delay things alot.

so here is my question: wont sending in docs before the DS-260 is filled, generate a DS-260checklist? and wont getting a checklist reset your scan date?

with all this website problem, does it make more sense to wait until the IV is payable online thus opening DS-260 before I send in the docs??

thoughts anyone?

@SunDan - it looks like you got that DS-260 checklist which answers my question.....this whole thing sucks.

can you check with NVC to see if (under the circumstances) ths will re-set your scan date?

For Domicile issue ( form I-1864 EZ), can any one advice me, if I am i eligible for US domicile ?

I am in US since 2013 permanently, but i had green card since 2010.

I use to come US every 9 months but before 12 months since 2010 and finally got settled here from Nov 2013. so am i eligible for US domicile ?

can i prove by following documents?

I have Driving licence, credit cards, bank accounts, permanent job since Nov 2013 in same company.

I have paid tax for 2 years, have SSN since 2010, have Medical insurance since 2013.

send me a letter format and advise me on above question. thanks Guys.

my PD 16th Dec'13. And I got DS260 checklist and completed that 56 days ago. Regular 30 days has been past already and now my case under supervisor review for DS260.

Did you get DS260 checklist as well?

Any idea/experience on how long they take for supervisor review to complete the case??

You have maintained greencard status. You will be fine. I do not see any problem with domicile here. 2 years are plenty to show that you live here and best part is that you paid taxes for 2 years. Good luck.

Case complete is a required step before getting an interview letter that is applicable for any immigrant visa that is processed through the National Visa Center.
