no it has only been a few weeks? but i was told i needed one..

You would only need a renewed letter of intent to marry if you have exceeded 4 months since Ready status. The only other time you would need one, is if you received an RFE from USCIS during your review period- but, as you have already been approved, that point is moot.

I believe other countries' embassies may be more stringent on bringing extra relationship evidence to the interview, but UK is much more lax. I suggest checking out the London Embassy reviews here >>>http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/index.php?cnty=United+Kingdom&cty=&dfilter=5<<<as it will definitely help with anxiety to read how easy the interview process really is :)

good luck!

Yeah a new letter of intent is only required if you are past your I-129F expiration date that is listed on your NOA 2 that was mailed to the petitioner. The USCIS approval is good for 4 months, but it can be extended by the embassy. If it is not past that time then you don't need the letter. If you are past that time it is only from the petitioner! You are at the interview so that proves that the beneficiary is still wanting to go through with the visa!
