find a sponsor simple.

or if the person was making 130k per year, like me, work for 4 months, to meet the above poverty guidelines. Then stay in the fiances or spouses country.

finding a sponsor is the easy way.

Wow, thank you, i didn't know that we can do so.

So I`m a little slow/scatterbrained atm but am I reading it right that if we file soon we will probably be sent to CSC?

Would that mean we have to send our file to TX still or straight to CSC?

We`ll be filing in the next couple of weeks, i am sending my signed documents and photo`s to my fiance tomorrow! Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

OT I`m so sorry you have to wait so long. The incredibly long wait is partially why we hadnt filed yet, we were thinking of meeting up one more time before filing since i cant go there after filing, and we haven`t seen each other since last November. The waiting sucks but even if it`s a year you`ll have the rest of your lives together, it`s definitely worth the wait!!

My fiance and I focus on the lovely memories and even more so, we work on planning our future. Planning a wedding although we have no clue when we can get married, just looking at ideas makes us happy. Looking at homes to buy etc, it makes the wait less painful. Focus on the positive :) Always keep in mind that no matter how rough you have it, someone somewhere is always suffering even more

Not to stray too off topic from the OP's post....but there is no immigration reason you can't visit after you file. Plenty of people do it, especially visiting from VWP countries.

that makes me happy , thank you! i read on a few threads that once you`ve filed they might act up at the border if you wanna go there before it`s been approved. I feel much better now knowing that even if we do get sent to TSC we can still get together during the long wait!! (him coming to belgium will not be possible for a while since he cant take time off at work, and after reading some threads i was always convinced i couldnt go there after filing without getting in trouble) You just made my day thank you :)

Stop looking at other people's timelines.

You should have planned for a long wait, expect 10 months, be happy with 5.

So since you received your NOA1 in March, you should be happy with a NOA2 in August but are really planning for January, 2016.

The best advice that you can get.

Best regards.

Hello

I feel for your plight. I survived TSC at a time when there was no chance of a transfer. All you can do is just go day by day. Speak on Skype if you can and arrange a visit if at all possible. I personally found great comfort in reading the experiences of others who were not only going through the TSC experience, but more importantly had survived it. Yes it is a shame about the huge disparity in processing times but it is what it is, and to get frustrated about the apparent unfairness, no matter how warranted, will only wear you out. I survived TSC and the rest of the process was pretty painless. So hang in there, it will happen. If it gets to much then feel free to vent on VJ.

Good luck

It's so sooo hard, but I agree with a lot of members posting. My NOA was recieved April 1, and some people in this short period of time have gotten their NOA2. I'm happy for them, it's exciting, and I think what about me!! LOL

I don't know what it is, but personally for me, I knew going into this, it's a process and it will take time. Everytime I check online...everytime, I get an error message. It can't find my case #.

Finally today I started an account to log in and check out my case. Most of the time it still wasn't working. I just came back from Lebanon to visit my fiance, I'm going to try and go back the end of August for his sisters wedding. But until then and until he comes, I'm trying to keep my mind busy, and do things for myself, spend time with family, workout more, ect. We are all in this together, try to take a break from this site, it's a great source, but it will make you kookoo. Good luck, and Stay POSITIVE !!!!!!

We applied mid August 2014 and got NOA2 at beginning of March - about 6.5 months.

Keep positive

1) use the time to plan for your new life, and close down your old one

2) when NOA2 does come things will move really quickly

3) know what it feels like to be apart from the person you love, and remember that when you are married - you can wake up and appreciate every day with the person you love and never take their presence for granted

By the time we get married (exactly a month from today) it will have been around 10 months from when we filed. That is a long time to be apart (though I've made a few trips to the US to see my fiancee) but in the scheme of things I consider myself lucky to have met such a wonderful person who makes me happy, and a wait of 10 months is a small price to pay to be able to be with them.

Best of luck - stick with it, its worth it.
