supervisor Review

It's worr been over 30 days after submitting DS 260 and the NVC CS Lady decided to escalate it to a supervisor. I later learnt from another CS that this review can take up to 42days. Am worried that even after the wait something else will go wrong. I say this because every time I call the NVC I get different info. Some CS say they are waiting for the police report (my step son in 10 and doesn't need one), others ask if I hv completed the ds 260(shouldn't this show automatically in their system?), when I submitted it April 3.

We are really frustrated. Anybody else going through the same as us?

I understand you're frustrated. NVC is definitely the worst stage according to me... :( The worst thing is, like you've noticed, that you can get different information depending on who you speak to. So hard. Try keeping your spirits up. Hopefully you hear something soon and then this will just be a distant memory.

I got the same issue today. I called because my ds-260 was approved in 30 days. They customer rep said she is going to initiate supervisor review. She also said they might request police certiicate which i had already submitted. She is like if you submitted its fine and lets see what supervisor review results will be. She said it might take upto 42 days. Even if you do everything right, they screw up.

my scan date is may 19. I was told to call back next week as well. they say 30 days...but it's just bs. people are waiting for over 30 days and no one cares at NVC. I called them when the 30 days were over. she said" you called a little too early" . I wanted to ask her why does the letter says 30 days but I didn't wanna be rude to her. there is nothing she can do. the reps just read of the computer.

On March 28 I received a checklist for a document I was sure I already submitted to the NVC. So I called them a few days later and asked for a supervisor review. I didn't re-submit the document. They told me 42 days. But it was only today (June 24) that my supervisor review was done. The result was... case complete. That means that I was right that I had already submitted the required document.

So I'm happy that my case is finally complete. But I'm pissed off that due to NVC's initial mistake in overlooking the document, I had to wait an additional almost 3 months. It's so depressing to think that I've been set back 3 months due to no fault of mine. Where's the compensation?

I feel your pain. I'm in the same situation. I got a checklist for a document that i already sent. I asked for supervisor review on April 24 th, and i was told it would take 42 days. Then i resent the document anyway. My 42 days went abd passed already, and until now my case is still not complete. I feel ur pain but be thankful that u r getting close to the ebd. My case has been with NVC since Feb 12 th, and is still there because someone doesn't know how to do his job

We also received a checklist to bring the supporting financial documents to the interview when it comes time and i when I called to verify that nothing else needed to be sent it - they then tried to tell me that they never received our marriage certificate which is a crock. The guy then went on to say " oh well i see here it's still being reviewed so that's probably why" like seriously , get your together and just move it along for all of us already. For all the hassell we've gone through with the site being down for over a month - there should be some sort of expedite.

I have three pending cases with NVC which is my wife and her two children. The oldest child's case has been at NVC since March 25th. I have called requesting help about 45 times and talked with 4 supervisors and maybe 15 different operators/specialists. Each one has had a different story. Yesterday I reached a supervisor who seemed to care and promised to reconstruct the case by having USCIS resend documents.(42 days). The younger child has been put into the system and the Visa fee paid by mail since the website was and still is, non functional. Unfortunately the DS-260 cannot be completed until the website reflects the payment even though the NVC can see that it has been paid since June 5. My wife somehow miraculously made it through the process and is now in document review only because I requested a DS-261 change by a supervisor and it somehow allowed me to pay the visa fee electronically. Of course they all must interview together and the oldest child's case may never get put into the system. What a mess at the State Dept.! I have not seen my wife since married June 2014. Anyone having problems like this? Good luck all!

My sd was Feb. 12 and on March 28 they put me into supervisor review. On March 18 someone open my package and didn't update the system. I still have not for a answer. I called for the past two days. Every week I call also. I'm so frustrated watching people get cc in March and Aprils. What can I do? Is this normal?
