Hi everyone. ive been quite rattled regarding a letter that I should received from the USEM. actually, i already scheduled my interview on june 9. Even if havent received the said letter. but upon checking it to the ceac website our case status is READY. Any idea on this? A friend send it to me coz his fiance just got interview. And what she said, they are looking for the said letter. Without it they wont accept you.:( ive been reading blogs and it says its okay if i dont have the letter of eligibility.

I don't have it and don't see why you would need it as long as you have a copy DS-160 page with the application number, and a copy of your appt confirmation (I'm assuming you scheduled online).

Yes i have it. The ds 160 which has the barcode and the appointment which i scheduled my appointment. I hope they will accept me. But i also asked my fiance to send me the letter from nvc via snail mail that our case was ready. Ive always believe I had everything ready. I hope nothing comes my way.

You don't really need that letter, but put it with your papers and take it with you.

Good luck with your interview!

Put what with my papers? i believe i can only obtain a copy of the k1 interview preparation instruction letter that I could download from USEM website. But again, ill just ask my fiance to send me the copy of the nvc letter with our case # and show to them. Right?

If you get it, put it with your papers. Otherwise, don't worry about it.

Some people receive the letter after the interview...some never receive it.
