Ceac case ready how long for contact?

My case is ready for interview on the ceac site. Currently waiting for the embassy to contact my fiancé to pick up packet 3. Just wondering, if anyone knows what's the average time to wait for the embassy to contact after receiving the case? Becoming impatient!

i've been waiting for two and a half months and still have not been contacted by the embassy. I noticed though my status change from ready to administrative processing. Anyone else in a similiar situation?

That's so strange!

When our case reached the embassy, we were waiting for six weeks to get the interview email, which was then a month later. A few friends of mine had to wait eight weeks at the Kabul embassy for the packet 3!
