What people do not understand is that wishing a big jump does not affect the probability that there will be.

I have been following this forum for a year and a half and every single month people were expecting a jump of x+ months. And it never happened.

I'm not sure if your problem is your English or your understanding of this immigration process but getting your I-130 approved does not mean that you have case complete.!!!

NO-ONE from that thread that you cite has case complete. Those are VERMONT filers - of which I am one - and they do not have case complete and there are still VJers on that same thread who are still waiting for their NOA2...

please, if you don't understand the F2A immigration process, that's fine, but please stop saying that many cases from Oct/Nov/Dec 2013 have case complete

That statement is simply not true for the many cases that were filed through Vermont.

We can only hope for a greater movement but sadly everyones expectation just gets killed each time with every visa bulletin! Just go with the flow and stay positive

Many from 2013 already have cc yes, but I definitely can see for myself and agree that quiet a few others still have their cases open at NVC.

It makes you wonder what really is going on there at NVC..?? and why they don't try a put a little more structure to how they process cases.

I mean, if the situation is that they will be trying to use all visas available then obviously they would HAVE to move the vb quiet a bit further to accommodate this. This will be great news for some but can easily be a horror stories for others. Being that all these 2013 cases are still being processed they'd probably end up having a retrogression soon after the new fiscal year begins or the vb would be dormant for a while like it was after vb was current in 2013, they would have to do this to allow all those cases to 'catch up' and then to process those visas before moving on again.

I really cant understand though, why NVC still allows this to happen after so many flawed years they should instill strategies to make this whole process a little more smooth.

that are ALOT of cases from VSC from oct/nov/dec that are not case complete. In fact, I challenge you to find a VJer from VSC from oct 2013 -jan2014 that has case complete.

as someone that filed in Dec 2013 and who just got my NOA2 on April 14, 2015, it irritates me no end to hear you going round saying many of the case from November, december, January are case complete. WE ARE NOT!!!!!

Guys,

Please don't let this wait get to you. Believe me I know what it can do to you. Lets try and understand that we all wish to move out of this scary seemingly never ending wait. I remember when i just came to this forum and posted a comment about being approved by USCIS in 42days, i was shocked by a response from a disgruntled VJer who obviously had been waiting for approval longer than me. I didnt take any offense but i realized how tensed a lot of people are out here.I got my own fair share of the tension when i was only a day away from being current and voila, the retrogression hit!

So to drive my points home, I have never seen this forum as a joke, rather i check what i post very well before hitting send. I know there are some of us who like to stay +ve and also some of us who aren't so much into wishful thinking. But above all, all of us would definitely get through with it someday.

Also if you think you are having it the toughest, just click around on this forum, you would definitely find someone who has had it worse.

This is just my thought, it may make little or no sense to you at all. Please forgive me.

Shadowflex is correct. We have to stay calm. Everybody is literally waiting like forever. I have been calling NVC almost everyday when I read here that others get approved and CCd later than my priority date. Asking them every now and then what is the problem.

@Hardik - no harm intended on my side - I just wanted to bring your attention to the VSC filers because I had seen you post that same thing on several threads and websites. My PD is December 2, 2013.....I will let you know when I get my welcome letter from NVC.....I will also let you know when I get my Case Complete....

@ All - what I have discovered is that there is no rhymme or reason to this process. They say if you are first in, you will be first out (i.e Priority Dates)....that's just a bold face lie. The naïveté I had when I first started the F2A process has long since gone....I am one of the ones that has no interest in wishful thinking. I want to know what is, so I will know how to plan. I don't want to sit around month after month wishing my life away and sugar coating the reality!

People are wishing for their PD to be current by wishing away the REALITY of this system. And the reality is that there are ALOT of applicants from August-November 2013 because they were lulled into filing because the VB was "current". (Please note for those who are not clear, I didn't say their PD was current I said the VB was current -- big difference!). There are ALOT of late 2013 applicants - both approved and pending! This, my friends, is the REALITY of what we are facing and it has to be overcome somehow...either in a big jump w/retrogression or in the VB slowing down/stopping altogether.

I realized about a year ago from a convo I had on one of the threads here on VJ, that it was very likely that VCS filers would get approvals very close to their PDs which would leave little time to address an RFE. That's how I came to understand the constant retrogressions inherent in the immigration system. So the cycle will repeat yet again.....and we will have a big jump at the end of this quarter because the oct-dec 2013 filers are not ready, and then the VB will retrogress, once oct-dec 2013 filers are case complete in order to pick us up again. The only way I can see this retrogression not happening is if there are so many sept/oct filers that they are able to use up all the remaining visas from this fiscal year. That's if they care about the unused visas! LOL!

Shadowflex is right, though, if you think you have it bad, all you have to do is look around VJ and you will see someone that has it worse. I was here on VJ when shadowflex got caught up in the retrogression by ONE day! And here we are almost 2 years later......so for the 2014 and 2015 filers who have NOA2 or CC and are complaining, please remember there are a lot of us from 2013 who are still waiting just to even get where you are....

So please don't wish us away....
