I have common sense. Tourist visas have nothing to do with K-1s. Just ask the gazillion K-1 applicants from the Philippines. Ask my wife, who comes from a country where it is very difficult to get a tourist visa but is considered super easy for K-1s and low fraud. There are countless developing countries that are considered relatively easy for K-1s (including a number in Africa too).

Can not think of any country in Africa similar to PI, sheer volume and profile totally different.

Honestly I think the only being around each other for two weeks and meeting through family is the red flag.

Now do I think that meeting through family is ALWAYS a red flag? No. But I think if you are a family of immigrants and you happen to meet someone through your family of the country you've immigrated from, it generally will be seen as a group of people trying to filter their friends into the country by marriage.

I am 25 years older than my wife. It had no bearing and her coming to the USA. She is now a US Citizen

Now if it had been the other way around...

If it were the other way around it would have a bearing. That is a fact.

How many young guys from the Philippines do you come across that have 25 year older fiances / wives ?

It is culturally common and accepted in your case being the older man, it is also accepted by the consulate without raising an eyebrow.

Unfair ? Yes, but true.

I emailed the embassy to see if I can get explanation or review, will wait for their response(doubt it). I also contacted a lawyer and they told me the CO has a complete discretion to make a determination. And my choices are to wait for a notice from USCiS to appeal or refile. Then I went to a local Congresswomen office to see if they can get an answer from the embassy before they send my file back to USCIS. I hope none of you have to go through this. This sucks.

Been there done that. It sucks.

You do not have to wait for 6 months to re file. Your petition will expire.

There is nothing to appeal and to try is lengthy, very expensive and a waste of time.

Either do another K1 or marry and do a CR1.

You can make an inquiry through your representative for another interview and tell them you will attend if granted, very slim chance but I have seen it

work before. If per chance they will grant another interview fly over there and hand over more relationship evidence in person and to show

support for your fiance.

That's exactly what I said to the Field Representative, if I get a 2nd interview I'll be there.

Quality front loading (not stuffing with useless fillers) is advised for high fraud countries due to the fact that the CO will see the relationship

evidence before the interview and many will not even look at any other evidence brought to the interview but base their decision on what they already have seen.

If you did not front load then there went your chance. This includes the evidence brought in a day before or so before the interview (if allowed).

Face time is always important, the more the better but so is the communication evidence between a couple when apart.

Front load, especially K1's and side load for CR1's at NVC.

Many get by without front loading but many simply do not. Research a bit in your regional forum and study what happened to those who went before you

and even though every case is different you will see a pattern emerge.

Throw in a cranky CO to the mix and there goes the visa.

Â

is it possible to front load more evidence after the I129f has been sent. If yes at what stage of the k1 process can one do the front loading.

CO is 100% wrong. There were pictures and about 400pages of message/calls. Provided everything they asked and wasn't enough I guess.

if it wasn't in the casefile prior to interview day,

then the CO did not see it.

Sorry.

CO only can adjudicate on what he/she can see/read.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

sorry,

in the venn diagram for chasing a K-1 visa,

what you've just described does not exist.

some people get lucky and get an RFE prior, include more with the RFE stuff, but it's not normal.

Front loading only happens when you load it at the 'front' to USCIS.

Some embassies allow you to submit further / ongoing evidence before the interview, they will state that in the instructions email.
