NVC said the system's currently not working

Anybody has tried cashier cheque?

My husband mailed the check on 13th and no notice from NVC yet.

We sent in a money order, it was received yesterday but no notification yet that it was received by NVC

I have no problem logging in but, although I received a letter saying I could pay the IV processing voice online, there is no invoice on their website. Basically, they haven't updated the system. Monday, May 25, is a holiday so I'm not expecting to see any changes until Tuesday. Hard to believe that they're keeping us hanging like this.

For me before portal used to show my case number and id doesn't match record and a week ago I had no problem logging in but now it shows my case is not eligible for further processing by NVC. When I asked Rep how come msg changed and why I'm not able to see my invoice, she said to ignore it as they r still dealing with technical problems and don't know when it's going to be fixed. Hope it will be fixed soon.

So here's the current situation of my case:

Mailed the cashier check and NVC has got it = PAID IV FEE
Electronic Application Centre is still not working, so no update of status regarding IV fee yet.

Not able to fill out DS-260 yet,
will go to the local embassy on Thursday as they hv a counter available for immigrant visa application & information on Thursdays.
Will see if they hv alternate ways for filling in DS-260.

Found some people on VJ can actually paid the AOS & IV fee these couple days.

However, mine still no luck= = shows the same "xxxx termination" sign....hope ours can work soon....

So we were able to choose the agent

We have sent the AOS payment via snail mail that is still showing as not received. But when we log in the AOS and IV fee are showing as 'not invoiced'

I called today, the agent hesitated said that I have to wait few days for the agent to update. I have asked her if there is a way if she can review it over the phone. At first she said no, the she asked me to confirm birthdate and name. And then she said that the visa fee will be sent via email.

I am GUESSING that

1. AOS fee will be processed soon

2. My DS261 was reviewed

3. The IV is on its way

4. I will be able to fill out D260 Fridays after the IV fee is paid

5. All of this should fit within the 30 days, as the clock started on 5/27 when we sent our documents

Am I missing something or am I wrong in my guessing?

In our case, there has been no synchrony between what NVC and CEAC do. On May 16, we received an email from NVC instructing us to pay the IV processing fee and submit DS-260, but we haven't been able to use the CEAC website to continue the process on our end. We can sign in but CEAC has not caught up with NVC, so we can't do anything with the instructions sent by NVC. Because of that, we sent the IV fee by snail mail last week and expect NVC to acknowledge that and tell us to proceed to the next step (submit DS-260). The problem is DS-260 can only be filled out and submitted via CEAC. We'll be stuck again, we know.

Yup, thats the one. I really lost all hope that I will be able to log in, but that turned yesterday at about 2pm Pacific time.

So we got a letter this morning that the NVC received our docs on 05/21

NVC rep confirmed (few of them actually) that our scan date is 05/27

I am now hoping that the AOS fee will show up as paid in the next couple of days and that I will be able to pay IV fee by the beginning of the next week and fill out DS260 by the end of Next

That will put us at the 06/12 mark, which should be good enough for the 06/27 target date, as all the components should be completed before they review the case?

Am I on the right track?
