Amhara,

I called NVC this morning and verified my case# and what I had was 100% correct. They have our package at NVC and it has not left for the embassy yet.

The lady said the K-1's do not sit at NVC very long and that the CEAC site is suffering technical difficulties at this time.

Thanks Plat,

That will help me out just in case the technical difficulties extend to the embassy too. If we don't hear anything about our interview being scheduled this week, then I will contact the embassy next week. We are still waiting to find out when his finals will be (should be sometime early June), and we may need to reschedule the medical, but if CEAC is having problems, then maybe the embassy's case management system could be too?

Don't worry, you will be on your way soon! :dancing:

How can a mistake on a form G 325 be corrected? I filed a fiancé visa but I put my moms residence as her country of birth, but they are different countries. She was born in another country but now lives in U.S. I just was confused and it was honestly a mistake. How and when can I correct this in the bio form? Should I wait until my fiancé goes to the interview in the embassy and she can take the corrected form there with her, or should I send it now but I don't know where. The application was approved two days ago but there is no case number and I think the next step is a visa processing center. Please help if anyone knows the answe

That is a good question. You'll probably be best served calling the USCIS directly to get the answer from them.

The National Customer Service Center (NCSC) phone number is 1-800-375-5283. (1-800-767-1833 (TDD for the hearing impaired))

I don't think you want to rely on the answer on this question from a self-help site.
