Thanks everyone. As all of you know all too well it was a long time coming.

Alex you know we will have to meet up for sure. Either Vegas orSan Francisco will work.

Osman09 I don't think they normally allow fiances to participate in the interview, but I didn't really give them an option. When they finally called our number, I walked our paperwork up to the window myself. After he asked her a few questions he asked me to have a seat.

Obrakeo: I made a mistake on our date. Luckily I double checked and realized it was int the 8th.

Tighfield: We are going to definitely enjoy ourselves. We are flying to Phu Quoc on the 14th, then to Rach Gia to visit her friends and family while wait for her visa to arrive.

Luukee: Normally I don't mind the traffic, but that morning I was capping my pants, because I thought we were going to be late. The house I rented is in Quan Tân Phu, near the airport. As far as paperwork goes, I front loaded my petition and they had most of my paperwork at the counter. I think they only took my affidavit for support and all of the paperwork my fiancée required. They didn't look at my birth certificate, paystubs, taxes, letter from work, updated emails or bank statements.

Are you able to track you EMS visa delivery? Curious how long it will take for visa's to arrive. Also, looks like there's one more fee to be paid after receiving the visa http://www.uscis.gov/forms/uscis-immigrant-fee ?

obrakeo, i'm not sure if i'm right about this or not, but I think incon did K1, so for him that visa may not be required?

He did file a K-1. The Visa fee would have already been paid before they would allow us to schedule a K-1 interview appt.

I'm not sure about the K-1 stuff since I didn't research about it, but I believe obrakeo is right about having to pay another visa fee (The POE Visa) which is different from the VISA fee for packet IV. I believe it's like $150 (while the packet IV was like 325, or something like that) of course this is for CR/IR1.

Yes, for a CR/IR1, the POE Visa is the final fee that has to be paid before you get your visa, but for K-1 filers, the Visa fee is already paid prior to the interview. Once the beneficiary passes the interview, there is no more fee to be paid.

For the CR/IR-1 It is actually the green card processing fee. It is paid after the visa is issue not before. It is a 1$165.00 dollars. It can be paid online, but you need 2 set of numbers from the visa. the A-registration number and the dot IV number. You can pay it before coming to USA or up to year after arriving in USA. It is best to try to pay it before arriving in USA, as the green card will be ready soon after arrival
