I'm an immigrant from India. Do I have to apply for a work permit before I start applying for job in the U.S.A? Won't I be able to apply at first? Suppose I'm selected,would the hiring company arrange for my work permit or I would have to start applying with the work permit? The thing is that does the U.S consulate give the VISA without any guaranteed job offer? Hope that i would be helped.

Let me tell you this , a classmate of mine studied here for 6 years and was on OPT for two years , she had a great job and was making $85,000 fresh out of college plus bonuses , the company filed H1b for her twice and she wasn't selected. Now she has to pack and go back to japan.

The other person wasn't being counterproductive. S/he merely told you a fact that many people wants to come to the states for whatever reasons but not everybody could. A visa is not guaranteed even if you had a good job here , not to mention applying for a non existent working visa from abroad. Besides , If you have no U.S. Education, work experiences or you are not a world renowned person, you chance of finding a job in the U.S. Is extremely slim. And you have just graduated from high school, you don't even have a college degree , I don't think you are even qualified for h1b.

Hi,

Hundred of millions (if not billions) of people want to live in the US. You are one of many. It's impossible for all of these people to qualify to come and live and work in the US.

Get an US citizen girlfriend who will marry you.

Get an employer to petition for you. (Highly unlikely since you are a photographer, and not a technology worker.)

Buy your way in with a $500,000 investment as an EB-5 visa.

Your option is a working visa which your future employer needs to apply for. Getting married/engaged to a USC for the sole purpose of moving to the US is considered fraud.
