Interview Approve?

My husband just got home from his interview. He arrived at the Embassy at 5:30am for his 6:30am appointment and finished at 3:15pm on the dot. Anyway, CO didn't "congratulate" nor didn't say "You're visa is approved.", just like what other CO say at the end of the interview. But his CO didn't ask for any other documents aside from the ones that he have with him. He didn't received a 22g1 form either. According to him the CO only told him to pick up the visa packet at 2Go when it's ready. So I guess he's approved, right?

Based on what the CO said, he was approved. Only way that you are not approve is the CO return your passport. Check the ceac for ur visa status. https://ceac.state.gov/CEAC/it will take days or weeks to issue the visa.

Most consulate officers do not state whether a person is approved or not at the interview, main reason being the visa isn't actually approved until later. You watch the CEAC website for status to say ISSUED, that is when you know the visa was actually approved.

Now with all that said, the CO told him his visa will be delivered to 2GO and he can pick it up from them so it is ..... CONGRATs!!!:dancing:

It's a shame that with his talent he could certainly turn that around and make the imput positive. You'll have this type of person no matter what blog you answer. Just ignore and keep moving on.
