Hi,

I have my interview scheduled on May/6 and I just received my medical report. I was required to take two vaccines. I have taken one dose of each one last Tuesday but I found out that there are two more doses to take on May/28 anf November/28 will this delay my travel to the US? Will it affect my approval for the interview.

Thanks for your reply I appreciate it. But will this affect my visa approval or delay my entry to the US?

Check Department of State on immunization FAQ.. in short you are only required the dose appropriate to your age before a visa can be issued. So the first dose is needed but others you are encouraged to complete whenever its appropriate time. So you will NOT be delayed due to an immunization coming later after your interview. Good luck with the interview.

I've seen in a few places on this site that if you are given vaccines at the medical that require subsequent doses at a later date that it should not prevent you or delay you from getting your visa. Your medical form for the affected vaccine column should have "insufficient time interval" checked, and then you should get a waiver.

This is for K1 but I think it still applies to CR1/IR1: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/529380-vaccinations-packet-3-questions-before-medical/

Does anyone know when the interview letters normally come in after your CC?

I saw 3 NAs on the 1st of May. When should I expect to get the interview date in the Pakistan embassy?

Also, do we get an email or a letter? Should I get done with anything in advance to expedite the process?

Thank you in advance!
