Holy cow, I am so over the moon right now and still in a bit of disbelief. It only took the USCIS 3 weeks after they originally got my petition to send me a NOA2!! I JUST got my NOA1 like two and a half weeks ago. What the heck?! I had to read the letter 10 times to make sure I was reading it right.

Now I'm in a super rush to go visit him and bring him what he'll need for the interview. So much excitement!!

I just wanted to share this here because not many people in my life realize how huge this is and I know you all will be able to appreciate how insane it is that we got it that quickly. I have no idea how this happened, but I am so thankful! Thank you, visajourney, for all your resources that helped us put together the petition so seamlessly. I can imagine I would've gotten a billion RFE's without this site.

Does anyone have any tips for what comes next? Interview and filling out forms and such?

But can you please let us know what 3 letters your Case Number starts with? WAC or SRC?

WAC stands for California Service Center, SRC for Texas Service Center. If it is WAC, please update your timeline - you were not at Texas Service Center.

CSC is fast, TSC is slow as hell - I have been stuck there for 4 months.

Your filing date also suggests you were at CSC, as all NOA-1 post March 27th were routed directly to CSC.

You're absolutely right. I did not see anything on there about being directed to CSC but I did notice the letters changed to WAC (I sent in a petition last year for someone else. Long story) which I found odd but just shrugged off.

I will update my timeline. That makes a lot more sense. I'm glad they are doing that now, but so sorry you are having to deal with such delays.

Can you please remove the transfer from your timeline? You were not transferred - that would only apply if you had an SRC number and got a transfer notice in the mail. You were routed directly. You have never been anywhere near TSC.

Otherwise, VJ will count your approval among the TSC filers which screws up the timeline prediction.

It's unfortunate that they haven't sent a good chunk of the ones that haven't been processed yet to the CSC as well. I feel so bad for all you who are having to wait so long.

MY COUSIN WAS APPROVED IN 6 weeks and his wife was in the USA in 5 months.

im going on 18 months and have our interview next month, IT WAS ROUGH!!! PATIENCE!!!!

They were processed at CSC, that's why.
