I don't like claws and teeth.

And yet you're married?

(Thought that thread said "Moderators," too, and was ready, oh so ready...)

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

Okay, fess up, you all thought it said moderators, didn't you.

Do any of you consider yourselves to be moderates or are you pretty much cut and dried liberal or conservative, Democrat or Republican? I'm a gun owner and support the Second Ammendment, so I can't be a liberal. But I believe in helping the less fortunate, so I can't be a conservative. I'm anti abortion, so I can't be a liberal, but I'm also pretty much against the death penalty, so I can't be a conservative.

I'm so confused by the extreme right and left. Maybe the middle of the road has less potholes.

i consider myself to be a moderate when exchanging with others, but personally my ideal is extreme left. but my ideal doesn't fit with reality.

conservatives believe in helping the less fortunate, only they do not believe it is the civic duty of every person but instead the civic duty of the church. good conservatives go to church, though so they mostly feel their care for less forunate is more or less covered.

you can be anti abortion and a liberal. the trick is not having an abortion if you're in the position to have one, but maintain the belief that others are competent enough to make their own descision if they're in the position to have one.

the middle of the road is nothing but a pothole, everybody just falls in and has no actual spine to get out.

No. Allergies are all physical reactions to something that doesn't jive well with your body. Check with anyone that ever accidentally ate anything they're allergic to without knowing it. Reactions can be anywhere from running noses, migraines, swelling, or even death in some cases. Depending on the reaction.

That was I thought.

 I figured most people would look quickly and see moderators.

Was I the only one thought "moderates" as a written? Interesting how different people are respond to based on their point of view.

And yet you're married?

Probably wing it. I haven't been there for ages. Have you been recently, and did you go to Santarpio's like you posted last week?

I went to Fanuel Hall last year with my wife's family when they came to visit. We ate at about 6 different places while walking around. I remember grabbing a slice at Regina, a cup of Chowda at Boston Chowda and a canoli at North End Pastry, lol. We stopped for a few drinks along the way as well.

Yes we went to Santarpios and were highly disappointed. You can read my full review here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/498482-international-pros-and-ex-cons-ftw/?p=7595875

Too bad about Santarpio's. I like Regina. And I'm usually a sucker for something from a pushcart.

What building is the oath ceremony being held in?

If you and your wife have never done the Duck Boat tours, I highly recomend it while you're there.

At the Fanuel Hall courthouse. Nice historic building. I'm bringing a bunch of $1's and I'm going to give them out to anyone who asks.
