I just called to check and see if by chance they had an interview date for us. She told me that they had just scheduled it earlier this morning. She said we will receive the email within a week or so.

We only just received our CC email on 4/24, so it was a surprise to me to have an interview date today. I'm not complaining though!

Haha, I just did the same and got the same answer. My interview date is 06/19! I'm gleaming! Good luck!!

Hi everyone

Thought I would also join this thread and spreadsheet:

I am EP for MTL, I submitted all my AOS and IV supporting documents yesterday (April 27) via the NVC email address.

Question:

(1) Will I and if so, when will I receive a confirmation email from the NVC that they received my AOS and IV packages?

(2) Is that confirmation email the "scan date"?

Not sure what others did for EP, but because of the number and size of my files, I had to send six (6!) separate emails for my AOS documents, but I ensured that each email had the same subject line with my NVC Case Number and Email # out of 6, and each file had my NVC Case Number - and each email was under 5 MBs.

Thanks for your insights!

Hi there, fellow EP for MTL member here. We sent in our AOS and IV on the 21st, so our dates are pretty similar.

1) It's my understanding that when you receive the email is random - some people get it the same day, some a month later (back when processing times were 60 days). I've yet to receive any kind of confirmation email and we're looking at a week's worth of wait tomorrow.

2) The confirmation email will list the day your documents were received, which is your scan date. Because you submitted your files today through EP, the 21st should be your scan date.

Anyone else please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I'm still kind of new to this.

For our files, I made sure to scan at a readable DPI, and then used a PDF compressor to shrink our files down to a manageable size. Before I sent the packets I made sure all of my documents were still perfectly clear and legible. We sent two emails, one for IV and one for AOS. I think, as long as you followed the NVC's directions on how to address your emails (Case Number, what the contents are) you should be okay.

Thanks ArroTG for your reply. I too scanned at a readable DPI (easily readable on my screen) and also used a PDF compressor, called PDF Squeezer (which I bought for $4 on the AppStore) to compress the files down. I definitely followed the NVC instructions, which also say you may need to send more than one email, but that each should be no more than 5 MB.

Waiting eagerly for the email confirmation!
