Well, You have your opinion and I have mine. Your world is perfect and mine is not perfect and I have to fix mine for myself as I will continue to stay away from your kind. You don't have to bother with trolls like me ok. Just ignore that we ever talked shallom.

Truth is hard mr, this laidback forum is not for you, you need an attorney in God mode. Good luck.

What is it with the seemingly increasing number of troll-ish threads with fantastic stories like this?

I think it is legit and that there are more out there than you would think.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

VAWA

You cant adjust from vawa. You had to have arrived with a visa or did you cross into the usa without inspection?

Vawa makes it so a battered spouse may adjust status.

Seems he flew in from Canada presumably with dodgy documents and claimed asylum.

Nasty people those Canadians.

We play hockey, a game where you can beat someone up. Not sure where everyone thinks we're friendly?

Canada rather ineffectively deals with their own illegals too and likely is happy to see the backside of one if that is the case.

Too funny my African brother clearly thinks that this forum is for people who have attempted and continue to attempt to beat the system even with a criminal background and has no qualms sharing this information in a public forum.

Sounds more like ice hockey.

Wow your story is a 20 year hot mess, I suggest you post your story on the Vawa 6 forum and get sandranj to advise you on this. Sincerely I think you should get a very experienced and expensive attorney to deal with your situation, you have way too much weighing against you.

You are mistaken. VAWA beneficiaries are a special class that are allowed to AoS even from EWI (similar to 245(i) grandfathering). See http://www.nationalimmigrationproject.org/legalresources/vc_USCIS%20VAWA%20EWI%20Adjustment%20Memo%20-%202008.pdf

In saying that, the OP has a myriad more problems than the EWI, and competent legal counsel is the way to go.

From (1) it looks like a 9C bar is in play (from the EWI after a prior removal), resulting in a lifetime bar from the US for which you can only file for a waiver after 10 years outside of the US. OP has no options other than to leave.

Ah thank you for explaining.

I totally agree with getting a lawyer
