This whole thing is such a stressor for him that any change from what he thought it was going to be is painful, even though it really makes no difference for him because he's already so close to the embassy.

I totally get it though. I finally accepted the other night that we will only relax once we actually get there. I just feel like we've been chafed with rough sandpaper, slowly and steadily, over such a long period of time now that every tiny thing feels magnified. Quite honestly, the embassy times are the least of our worries right now. I'm just so tired of [my own] drama, haha..

Just got off the phone with NVC. They confirmed our interview was scheduled yesterday and is scheduled for June 16th @ 9am.

Anyone else in London with a morning time still scheduled and around that date? No email yet with the confirmation this was only over the phone tonight.

My interview is still scheduled for 9:00 am on June 23. I received the interview letter a week ago. My case just arrived in London so I am waiting to see if they now reschedule me for an afternoon slot. I hope this is not the case as I already booked the hotel thinking I would have to arrive early.

Maybe NVC who schedules the CR1 appointments doesn't know about the embassy's change of plans for May/June.

That's possible I guess. You would think the NVC would know that though if they have to wait for the embassy to tell them it's okay to schedule. What do you suggest? Try reaching the embassy or wait for the embassy to contact us?

I emailed the embassy this morning to see if my appointment will be rescheduled or not. I will update when they reply.

The embassy replied to the email and confirmed that my appointment has been moved to 1 PM too. I presume the same is true for your appointment. The email said a letter was sent to me on May 15, I wonder if they sent it via postal mail as I haven't received an email from them today, other than the reply to my email. The email confirmed that all May and June appointments will occur in the afternoon. This has messed up my plans :-(

If they said a LETTER was sent, then they mean paper, envelope, stamp, postal mail.

Out of curiosity, did you actually email the embassy or use the contact form on their site?

I used the contact form on their website. I didn't receive anything in the post today, but I am quite far away from London, so maybe on Monday or Tuesday. As the interview letter is referred to as a letter, and it is sent via a PDF email attachment, I had wondered if this was true here. I guess we'll find out next week. Have a good weekend!
