I'm in the process of using that service now during my K1. It made the first part really easy. You fill out a series of questions and it fills in all the forms. I like it so far. its a lot cheaper than using an attorney, and that what they specialize in, visas.

What I liked is that it (easyfiancevisa) took all the guesswork out of filling the forms. We just simply signed and mailed. They even submitted our front loads and gave us precise instructions for each and every step. In addition, they answered all of our questions and gave my wife a mock CO interview, which really helped her prepare for the real interview.

The few hundred dollars it costs is well worth the peace of mind the service provides. Besides, they guaranteed my wife would get her visa or my money back (sans government/medical fees).

using a lawyer or a website will not guarantee anything goes any smoother. If anything it will slow things down rather than speed them up. If a lawyer makes a mistake, they are just going to say OOPS. There's nothing else they can do. First hand experience taught me that even an immigration lawyer specializing in what you are doing can make a mistake because odds are they are paying some paper pusher who just started to do the work. I highly recommend if you do not have abnormal circumstances you do the work yourself.

You will have to gather documents, proofs, etc no matter what...With a lawyer or yourself. When we started the K1 visa journey a couple years ago we got a $3000 quote from a lawyer and we thought it was ridiculous. Then my boyfriend (now husband) found this visa journey site and thanks God we found this great forum. It helped us a LOT and saved us lot of money and headaches. I always think that nobody will do it better than YOU because this is YOUR case. If there is a mistake, at least you know it was YOUR mistake and not your lawyers that costed you thousands of dollars.

Whatever you decide, I wish you good luck and patience in this journey.

Signed and mail? So basically you do all the work and gather all the document and send it to them and they fill out the forms and they charge you few hundred dollars to fill out a few pages of paperwork

Do they get the Cenomar and BirthCertificate for the Philippine Spouse?

Hi guys,

New here. My bf and I is thinking of getting a firm to help us process our K1 visa. Both of us are busy and we want the procedure to go as smoothly as possible. I found this site and apparently they have good reviews? I just wanted to know, has anyone here has used this service before? Are they Legitimate? Has anybody used a firm or anything like it to process their visa? Any recommendation?

Thank you! (L)

Do it yourselves. Outsourcing it only increases the chance of screw-ups.

Save some money by doing it yourself. There's quite a few people here who has gotten a Request for further evidence (RFE) even though they had a lawyer. Everyone's busy, you just got to set aside sometime for the visa.

No, Cenomar, Birth Certificates, police reports all have to be gathered and submitted by the client.

Easy Fiance Visa tells you step by step what you need to do, what evidence and supporting documents are required (tax forms, chats, pics etc) and then they correctly fill out all your paperwork so you don't have to guess what to put in each field.

In addition, they also prepare your fiance for the interview as well as inform you with what to expect each stage of the process.

They are really a great service and I highly recommend them for those, like myself, who are skittish about DIY, and just want peace of mind it's done correctly. They are also about 1/3 the cost of a lawyer for their platinum package, even less if you just want them to do paperwork.

Never heard of that one. If you want someone to complete forms for you, with the information/data you have to provide to them, a service may be helpful. You will still have to gather everything that is required.

I See Many others have attacked you for a simple question. I will share my experience without judgement. My Fiance and I used Rapid Visa. They provide a very good service. They have an office about 300 yards from the front of the US Embassyin Manila. They can answer almost any questions you have, and they assist you in their offices without any further cost other than the initial payment, unually I would have done the Visa myself, but I am a businessman and probably as busy as you. A Fiance Visa is usually good for 6 months as you may read here in the blogs, most can't complete the paperwork in time to take advantage of the full 6 months. My Fiance and I recieved her Visa in record time following the instructions given to us by Rapid Visa. and her Visa is good for 5 months 10 days.

Apparently, some people think others are being 'attacked' when someone disagrees with their opinions.

  1. With your visa, you can apply for a single admission at a U.S. port-of-entry within the validity of the visa, which will be a maximum of 6 months from the date of issuance. You must marry your U.S. citizen fiancé(e) within 90 days of your entry into the United States.
