Almost two months after the interview (April 30 - family based AOS, k1) the status has changed to "USPS picked up my card"! hopefully i receive it soon.

but when tracking the number on usps web-site, it shows that the shipment was accepted in Corbin, KY, went to KNOXVILLE, TN and only then finally to GA. I live in GA. Why such a complicated route? Or was the case transferred to KY?

At this point I think you should only jump for joy that it is on its way, regardless of the route :dancing: . Congratulations, I am happy for you that your wait is over!!

Pickle, thank you. I am very happy, I couldnt believe my eyes when i saw it online. I hope I will soon receive the card. How about you? Any changes?

Nothing. I am getting closer now to the 3 month mark! It is ridiculous that people who applied 6 - 7 months after me will have their approvals before me. I am so tired of waiting.

Enjoy this moment of happiness and relief!

I know how you feel. I was very frustrated too. Especially considering the fact that I was told during the interview that my green card was appoved.

Have you tried to contact your congressman/ senator or ombudsman? To tell you the truth I was filling in the electronic form for ombudsman assistance and I checked my status on the USCIS web-site because I wanted to do a printscreen of it and to attach it to the form as one of the supporting documents (according to the instruction). I had no more hope whatsoever.

That is probably a good idea. I thought about it before, but I feel like I should just be more patient, other people might need the help more than me. Well, we missed our vacation in my home country, so I think it is time for me to contact my senator!

Or was the case transferred to KY?

awww... Congrats :) I am so happy for you. Enjoy! Still no news for me, It is almost three months after the interview. :clock:

Hi florist, yes this has not been a joyful journey. First my EAD takes almost 100 days to complete, then I waited 8 months to attend the interview...now close to 3 months waiting for a decision! It gets more frustrating when you see other people just flying through the process.

I saw in your timeline that you filed in October, but Boston's processing time for I-485 is September 2014, so you can also not file a service request yet (same situation here). See what I did here though, just to hopefully bring attention to my case: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/556083-online-service-request-worked-for-i-130-but-not-i-485/

Thanks for sharing your experience Pickle. I had the same issue with the service request. and I exactly did what you have done. The processing time for Boston has been update don April 30, I'd assume they should have progressed a little by now?

I don't know... It has put all mu plans on hold and I do not even know why this delay is happening. It looks like that it is only you and me waiting this long... Fingers crossed!
