Did you attend your spouses interview?

I just got back from Morocco and they scheduled his interview for May 28th, trying to make a decision if i should go back. I know they do not let you enter with them at Casablanca but am interested to know how many people sent in their passports in with their spouse and were asked into the interview or were able to intervene with favorable out come? A lil back ground we are 6 years into this, our fiance visa was denied I guess i feel a little guilty , for not being there for the first interview and now just leaving want to do whats best at this point. Our two year old son misses hid dad and my husband is beside himself anxious to be here for his boy and me. thank you

I flew for my fiance's interview and he told CO I am outside and he handed my passport. CO was NO, I don't need her and pushed back the passport. My fiance was put in over 4 months of AP as well. I don't know if that helped or not.

Having not gone to an interview yet, I can not fully comment. However, it is my intention to attend the interview with my husband. It certainly never hurts to attend, even if they do not let you inside. Just being there can give your husband the confidence and support he needs to feel relaxed during the interview.

My husband also has his interview May 28th, and I am flying there for moral support, but I don't believe it will affect the interview if you're there or not aside from emotionally.

Hi! From the beginning it was planned for my husband to attempt the interview with me. A last minute problem came up and he couldn't make it. At first I was very sad and discouraged. But thanks God it didn't affect the approval of my visa, if you have all they need and a solid case that's all that matter. Sure the CO asked where was my husband but I told him he was at work in the U.S and he understood.

There are NO negatives to the petitioner's being on the consular premises at the time of the interview.

The beneficiary's handing of the petitioner's U.S. passport to show the consul can ONLY be beneficial, because it (re)affirms the bona fide nature of the relationship.
