@Martiv... That was clearly her intent because she's making it known that because she has been waiting over 30 days, I shouldn't be saying anything because I'm not waiting as long as her. This site is/was to be about encouraging each other as we all go through our different stages of this process, and I refuse to waste my time coming on here to argue with anyone.

As I was saying before...CSC is great on fast approvals but sucks when it comes to getting your case to NVC.. They usually do it in bulk so maybe that's why it's taking so long so keep calling until you get your case number. I hope you get great news soon & I truly hope you'll get your visa in time for your flight. Good luck with the rest of your journey

Listen, regardless of where we are in our journey please be mindful of what you say to others. I CLEARLY pointed out the fact by saying you guys have been waiting ALOT longer than I have (AT THIS STAGE), but the fact still remains that we are WAITING TOGETHER which puts us in the same boat regardless if you've been sitting on the boat longer than the newer persons who are just boarding the waiting ship. This is the problem with other people on this website because those at TSC filers talks down to CSC filers because they received their NOA2 a lot faster than the rest of us which isn't something any of us can control. However, I've been sitting at TSC for almost 5 months before my fiancé finally got approved and it's heartbreaking for those who are still waiting whether they applied before me or after while you on the other hand receive you approval in less than a month and now waiting over a month to get your petition to NVC... Oh my looks like the world is gonna end!

I've seen your posts about the long wait at NVC and I do sympathize with you about the long wait, but please don't ever respond to my comment by trying to talk down to me because you feel as if I have no room to comment because you've been waiting 30+ days & we're only at a few weeks. If you calculate my wait time from USCIS to NVC compare to yours, I should be the one telling you that you're not in the same boat or same sea so please be mindful of what you say to others and how you say it. We're all upset and hurting over this immigration journey one way or another, but this constant bickering & snapping at other people on this website is getting ridiculous and needs to stop.

This is so funny!! I literally just got onto somebody about the EXACT same thing. But I was fully joking. Hence why I put 'lol'. I completely get the whole thing of waiting at TSC, don't me wrong. I was just trying to make light heart of the situation. Lol I wasn't talking down to you at all. Well I wasn't intending it to be that way. I'm sure if you read it again you can see I'm just joking around. I've always said how much of a shambles it is, for ANYBODY to have to deal with the TSC fiasco. I wasn't trying to say you had no room to comment I was actually trying to say you might not have to deal with what we have. It's not been two weeks yet so don't panic type of thing. This is funny because how I was trying to come across has gone completely out of the window. My bad lol! If you go to my other post http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/544209-post-for-febearly-march-noa2-which-havent-been-received-by-nvc/#entry7573550have a look at what I just said to somebody I'm pretty sure you can see I'm not one to talk down to somebody else. I thought you would just laugh it off. As soon as I started reading this I felt bad, didn't even finish I had to reply straight away. Lol

Like I always say, this site is here to help people and give advice and some what make new friends. I'm here to help and take/give as much advice as I can. If I put 'lol' in my post, just realise I'm joking. I saw a fellow West Indian and thought, they'd know I'm joking. Lol maybe it's my small island humour.

I just read my post again and it's clear I wasn't being rude actually. I even gave you advice as to when to start calling. You can clearly see how many times I said 'lol' so to be honest I don't know why you feel like I was talking down to you. I didn't even compare how long we've been waiting, just made a joke and you took it hte wrong way. Now I feel like I shouldn't of been so nice with my apology!

I was clearly making a joke! What you got upset for, I don't know.

First of all it wasn't my intent so no, it's not 'clearly that was her intent'. Not once in my response to you did I say you shouldn't be saying anyting beacue you haven't been waiting as long as I have. I even gave you a lil bit of advice of when to start calling.

I thought it was common knowledge that CSC filers "wait" time is concentrated at the NVC stage? You could be there for 3 months. Check the timeline of other non-Filipino CSC filers to see what I am talking about.

See that's what got me confused. I've read that it's not always quick then seeing a whole bunch of time lines from CSC going through the process real quick. Non Fili too. A friend of mine got her petition approved 4 days after mine and she has her case number. Lol now I know the most common thing is to wait.

You have to understand that texting is completely different from having a face to face conversation. What you said did strike a nerve with me because of the fact that you said I'm not in the same boat or the same sea as you, so therefore your 'lol' didnt come off as joking to me. There are many ways for others to interpret something and even though you said you were joking, i could have said 'lol' in a sarcastic response and that wouldnt mean im joking around.... You could have said what you had to say in a better way, and maybe then i would have understand your sense of humor. I accept your apology & since I took your sense of humor the wrong way then I'd like to say I'm sorry too.

Hopefully you'll get good news from NVC soon & good luck with the rest of your journey.

I completely understand that writen word can EASILY be misconstrued as one thing instead of another. Hence why I was so quick to apologise. If you realise this then maybe don't switch so quickly to the defensive. Unless somebody has come at me sideways I'll always try and help or bus a lil joke. But yeah that's fine. Apology accepted. And I'm sure you'll prob get your case number next week! TSC have the upper hand on CSC when it comes to that lol.

Yes I think my next port of call is getting my fiancé to contact hie congressman! From your timeline it looks like your case has been received at NVC? So you're just waiting on your case number now?

It couldn't hurt to scan your NAO2 and emailing it to NVC too as well and contacting your congressman.

Good luck!!

sorry I needed to fix that.. I called on the 25th and they said they received it and since then they supposibly don't have it... our lawyer said the best is to wait the 56 days and then get your congressman to jump in.. he said there is one that deals with issues just like this. so in 13 days if we hear nothing we are going to contact them.

Wait! They said they have it then they don't! That makes no sense!! They're playing silly buggere. Have you called USCIS to track your case? If NVC don't have it then maybe USCIS can let you know where it is.

yeah our lawyer called USCIS and they said it was sent on the 18th.. but I guess the NVC is under new contract and he said this has been a problem for most of his cases lately.. I know I told the women that they mentioned having it when she told me they didn't. All she said was I must have given the wrong case number.
