(CNN)Wayne Community College in Goldsboro, North Carolina, is on lockdown after one person was shot in the library, said Daniel Wiggins, assistant operations manager for Wayne County.

The victim died, City Manager Scott Stevens said, adding that he does not think there are additional victims.

The shooter is at large, Wiggins said.

It's a shame in a first world country, we have folks that feel they HAVE to be armed just to leave their homes. It must be a burden to carry all the time with the ever growing fear that being armed is the ONLY thing that's keeping you alive.

Back to OP, I hope they catch this dude before he kills anyone else.
