Thank you!! It kinda is. Not going to get over joyed until I actually get the case number lol.

LOL How funny is that? I'm a USC but I have a NZer accent from living abroad half my life. When I called last year to ask for the correct addresses (wasn't sure where to send petition before finding this site) they were so quick to tell me to check a website. Wanted me off the phone ASAP.

Congrats on your good news!

That's good to hear. It's usually in London within a week of the case number being assigned. Sometimes even sooner.

Yay!!!

I called the NVC yesterday and they confirmed receipt!!! Today, the embassy number is showing in ceac.gov!!! It's such a relief to see this. We feel so bless that this process has been kind to us; and I wish I could comfort the feeling of those that have been waiting for so long in TSC. Nothing is known, but hope can keep our spirits afloat.

Btw, we hope to visit my mom in Tucson this November! I miss the land of my birth sometimes; I have never seen anything like a Sonoran Desert sunset. I hope you are in the States in time to enjoy the beautiful, refreshing feeling of the annual monsoon. May the desert bloom bring joy to your heart!

LOL. From your timeline I see that your visa was approved and already entered the US, and THEN you receive the case number, which will do you no good. Truly hilarious.

It's as if NVC said, "Oh, by the way, we received your petition..." right before you are ready to send off the AOS! Classic!
