I got this exact same notification from USCIS, RFE regarding IMBRA.

I emailed the site I used, chinalovecupid.com, but got no response. They are an Australian company with an EXTENSIVE terms of use http://www.chinalovecupid.com/en/general/termsofusebut they do not mention IMBRA at all.

In the end, I'm pretty sure my fiancee has not paid to use the site (gotta double check with her), so I think that if either party does not pay it would exclude it from IMBRA by definition. More research will be required.

sorry to bump my own topic! couldn't see any edit function.

I initially searched the site's Terms for 'imbra' and found no match, but after searching for 'broker', I found the following:

3. The Service

The Service is an internet information service that facilitates contact between members who may or may not be seeking friendship or a relationship. It is not a marriage brokering service, mail order bride service or a matchmaking service. The Company is under no obligation to broker any other member or members for you.

Those terms, with that passage highlighted, plus letters from myself and my fiance, will hopefully do the trick.

good day to all of us here.my fiance recieved the same mail in U.S. last Monday and since then I started to gather info on how we can answer what they're requesting. I met my fiance on cherry blossoms.com last July 2013 and I am 100% sure that I.never signed any written consent etc etc to them there for it never existed in the first place.I tried to email tem but never replied.also I and my fiance agreed before to erase from their data base our profile since we became lovers already. that's why I can't access our conversations there so is the profile itself.I'm hoping there's someone here who can help me pass this and what and how to do it. thank u so much.God bless to us

Thanks TBoneTX for your reply.

Davenshey, I also discontinued from the site I met my fiancée from. I emailed them and they were able to reinstate my account. Then I was able to print out their IMBRA form.

I very much hope you find a resolution, because I know how hopeless I felt in this situation. If you can't do it the way I described, other people on this site have had different strategies for the K-1 visa. And last resort is the CR-1 visa for spouses which I think does not have this requirement.

good day. I received an official statement from the site as answer to my request to them they confirmed and elaborated very well that they are not IMB. and explained also why that's they confirmed that there is no written consent form signed by members before the release of their information. they also attached official letter from the presidentbof their site and requested me to make my own letter with signature confirming that I didn't sign anything too. we called the USCIS and asked if it's ok to just fax tem what I gathered here but they advised for the originals since there's signatures involved just to make sure..hopefully we hear positive once my fiance recieved the fedex documents i sent and mail it Back to the USCIS . let's pray for the best . thank u

Hello .we replied the USCIS RFE to us by providing official letter from the site me and my fiance joined.they confirmed that they are not IMB. I also attached letter with signature confirming the same thing that I didn't sign any consent when I joined the site before they introduce me to any member. The USCIS approved our petition in as fast as 7 working days.they forwarded it to national visa center already and I received my manila case number.any weeks from now we're going to pay for k1/ and k2 visa fee.I hope all of us here will get a positive result.God bless us all

Thanks for the positive update -- you must be relieved. I get the sense that USCIS simply wants "something" for the file.
